Normally I reserve my reviews for a place until I've been there at least 3 times. But for this place, I'll make an exception, and go ahead and say they're pretty good. I wouldn't call this the best place I've ever eaten, and well it's a revolving belt sushi place so it's not like the most fancy place. But it's good.
The prices are rather good, I thought they were damn cheap. But then again, I'm used to kuru kuru sushi in Japan, and that's just expensive as hell. The most expensive dish was $4, and the cheapest dish was $1.50. (at the time of this review) I was really impressed with those prices, especially since like I said I'm used to the cheapest dish being $4.
The sushi is unlabeled, but that's ok, if you just speak up and ask the chefs what something is, they'll tell you exactly what it is. Most people are just too timid to ask. You can also ask for anything special that's not on the belt, which is normal. I had to ask for Ikura (salmon egg) and they had it right up. My mom had asked for some ama ebi (raw shrimp) and while they had it, the chef had recommended not to have it. It was very nice of him not to decide to serve it, even though he had it. I can only hope that they decided to throw it away and not feed it to anyone else.
They really had a lot of rolls on the belt, and not as much sushi. Which is ok, since I know rolls definitely sell. It's just good to know that I can easily order something from the sushi chef just as easily.
If sushi isn't for you and you like sashimi, you can order that too. Just ask any of the sushi chefs. They give you 4 slices of sashimi, since you don't have any rice at all. Pretty standard, and very nice. some places will not give you 4, but instead give you 2. this really helps in the pricing, since you pay per plate.
The service was pretty good, the waitresses were pretty quick to get things if we needed them.
The cleanliness of the establishment was on par, I'd say it would pass a health inspection. (and trust me, I know, I used to be a health inspector.)
I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

Falls Terrace Restaurant

We went here for mother's day for both of our moms on different days.
First of all, I'll complain about the parking. Yes, the parking is horrible. I personally cannot walk too long of a distance comfortably (but I can) but my father is on oxygen and while he has a handicap license, there aren't many handicap spots. Luckily my mom was able to find a spot near the restaurant. Otherwise, you might have to walk a ways for your parking spot. Very frustrating.
While waiting, the waiting area is too small. They really need a place for people waiting for their table to sit. We actually reserved tables, and we still had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes. I think their idea of table management is not very professional.
When going here, I had the impression that it was pretty nice and fancy, but it was anything but. It just seemed like a typical family restaurant that had a great view of the falls. I have to say that's the only saving grace for them.
The first day, I had the surf and turf, Sirloin and Cedar Planked Salmon. The next day was lunch, so I had the BLT. The BLT was great. I mean, how can you mess that up right?
As for the Salmon and Sirloin, The Sirloin was great, but I think the person who cooked the Salmon was different than the person who cooked the Sirloin. The Salmon was served on a Cedar plank, which was on fire when it arrived. That was fine and dandy, but the when blowing out the flames, the smoke from the wood was very disturbing and annoying to us. Not cool. Then the salmon did not have any flavor! Did they even salt the Salmon? I have to say it was quite a disappointment.
Personally I think the food was ok, but I could have definitely cooked something better.

The Main Chinese buffet is everything you can expect from a chinese buffet type restaurant. The food is always fresh, and they have a good variety of food.
They have a sushi bar, so you can enjoy all you can eat sushi as well.
The dessert bar has a bit more to be desired. They could probably have more toppings for the ice cream softserve.
The prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend going here if you're looking for a good all you can eat buffet.

We go to this IHOP on a regular basis. It almost seems like IHOP is a tradition to go to if we want to have breakfast-y type food. They're not the greatest of all of the breakfast type places, but this IHOP has some great service.
They can get really busy, but this IHOP has never really failed to bring out your food on time. The food is always well cooked, and I've never had an issue with them.
All in all, I'd go to this IHOP again, over and over. cost wise, IHOP isn't bad either.

Banfield the Pet Hospital
Category: Veterinarians
Banfield is the hospital for pets. They do have insurance for your pets, which is moderately priced. I recommend it as it also includes your annual shots, as well as annual exams.
The vets are particularly friendly here, and all the assistants are as well. They also sell prescription food, in the event your pet needs it. Our cat has to take some special food because she's pretty old now, and needs delicate food.
I've never had an incident with them that I recall, and haven't talked to anyone else having any problems either. I think the staff here do a great job. You can tell that they really love animals.

This store is very good. I'm not entirely sure if it's all petsmarts, but within this petsmart is a Banfield pet hospital, which we take our cat to all the time. The store always has everything we need, and the staff is very friendly.
They really seem to take care of their animals very well. The grooming portion is pretty good as well. We only had an incident once, and I'm pretty sure it was because our cat was stressing out, and she ended up peeing in her kennel. The staff was helpful enough to give my wife some towels to help clean it up.
I would definitely go here again.

Subway Sandwiches & Salads
Category: Restaurants
This is the normal Subway which we go to. It's never too crowded, which is always good. They do a great job making sandwiches, and I've never had an issue with this store at all.
The selection is on par with all Subways. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sandwich.

Safeway in general is a pretty ok supermarket. Their prices aren't too bad. I go to this one on a regular basis. I shop for most of my groceries here. If I can't find what I'm looking for it's usually because it's an asian specialty item, and while Safeway does have quite a bit of ethnic foods, they don't have everything.
Service is always great, everyone is willing to help you find something.
The only thing different about this safeway that bothers me is the parking lot, and I'm not sure how much control they have over it. There are recycling dumpsters in the parking lot, and often people will park all wrong and it really does cause an issue sometimes.
This store is open 24 hours a day, which makes things convenient.
Safeway also delivers and you can shop online instead of visiting the store physically. I've not tried this yet, but probably will someday.

I've been to this diner enough times to know that I always want to go back. The atmosphere is friendly, just as most diners. It's very crowded, and they do attract a lot of residents from the nearby Leisuretown senior community.
The food is great. I had an omelette the last time I went there and it was spot on. The service is good as well, and I've never had a bad experience there.
I would definitely go there again.
