I think my standard for food has increased since moving to Seattle because I only thought the food was "so-so" compared to other happy hour options. Due to location, they still do get a lot of business and they have the giant wheel to spin during happy hour. This definitely keeps it fun...and happy!

I ordered appetizers and especially enjoyed the rock shrimp cocktail. The prices are very fair and if you work down town it is more than accessible.

Majestic Bay Theatres

It was nice getting out and catching a movie in this very classic movie theater. The box office, the theater, the decor and even the opening filmettes were vintage. I would recommend this theater for almost all movies unless you are hoping to get your ears blown off on a giant screen with loud speakers. Otherwise, this is a nice, comfy, alternative.

The two stars "marked off" were for cleanliness and also for not having 2 aisles. In other words, if you sat all the way down to the left you can't exit or enter without crossing in front of EVERYONE else sitting to your right. That is awkward and probably some sort of fire hazard.

Flew into the Alaska terminal which was newly re-done. Really clean with great food options. There is a tram that takes you from one terminal to the next. Sacramento is a good option to fly into if you do not want to deal with potential delays from fog in SF.

Minus one start for parking. Parking makes me want to cry giant tears into my basket full of gluten-free pasta and bag of clementines.

One of the first things I realized when relocating to Seattle is that all road lead to a Whole Foods. This one is great - busy as ever but the lines move very fast. I love that Bartell's is right upstairs, making it an easy, one stop shop.

Nikki has amazing technique. I carry my stress in my upper back and she kneaded through each and every knot I had. The front desk staff was kind and quick to get us settled. I thought there would be more emenities and planned on spending a few hours afterwards to use them but in there is only a steam room and a serentiy room to sip tea and relax. The facility is well taken care of. It is on the smaller side which is okay because it is not ridiculously busy like a Burke Williams would be.

It is weird that I look forward to shopping when I fly out of SeaTac. I love this airport. The food. The stores. The organization. TSA is quick and not rude. Parking is a bit pricey but convenient. Don't have a car? Use the light rail. It's always WIN when I fly in or out of here.

Very nice ambiance. Kind service. Okay food. I ordered the french onion soup and the crab cakes. Neither one of these things was exceptional. If I could jump in a time machine and order the Crab Louis Salad, which Louis Davenport is famed for creating, I would. The fries were great and as mentioned, everyone there was extraordinary kind and attentive.

They are really nice and polite. The prices are slightly higher than close competitors but they are open later. If someone isn't that into Pho they have Thai dish options. The catch is, they aren't very good Thai dish options. The broth of the Pho was salty. I am pleased that they served my pho with the meat still slightly rare as Pho is supposed to be served. The next time I come here it will most likely be because it is late at night and there aren't any other options. Otherwise, for better tasting Pho, I'll be elsewhere. (I'm still on the search for THE best.)

This is a pretty much no bull-hit airport. Show up. Check in. Go through security and BAM you are pretty much at your gate. No fuss.

I would hate to think if I ever had to spend an hour plus layover here though because the food options are limited.

It really isn't fair for me to review a Mexican restaurant in Spokane WA with the same guidelines I do use while dining in California. The service was nice, quick and efficient. The complimentary little dessert bites after the meal are thoughtful. When it comes to the actual dish I ordered, "Chile Verde", I will have to admit that I have friends of non-Hispanic decent that can probably throw together a more flavorful and authentic meal together. I actually do not put the cook/owners at fault here as I'm sure they are appeasing the masses with a more Americanized and tame menu. I suppose the lesson l learned here is - don't eat Mexican in food in Eastern Washington.
