Current CrushShhh... that's a secret...
Stopped by here tonight for the first time -- and all I gotta say is WOW...
As an East Coast transplant (yes, another one) -- I was surprised to see a CVS finally arrive into town..
Like other brands "back home" (like Friendly's, Dunkin' Donuts, D'angelos, Stop and Shop, Carvel, etc.) --- CVS is very well-known and long established...
I haven't been to a CVS in years... I wonder what took them so long to get here..
Anyway, I'm glad they're here --- I just hope they don't do what Rite-Aid did and pull out of S.F. after two years.. which essentially surrendered the S.F. area to Walgreens.. It's nice to have an alternative...
The customer service was awesome the minute I walked in.. Woman behind the counter was friendly, helped me sign up for the discount card, and didn't seem annoyed or in a rush...
Another dude in the aisles went to the back of the store to look for the coffee that was on sale that I wanted.. They were still out -- but he wrote me a raincheck -- all the while looking like he actually ENJOYED HIS JOB --- WOW --- what a concept, huh?
Security guard showed me where the soap was too -- and he was also nice... I tried the self-checkout too -- no qualms and I kind of liked it that I can check out at my own pace..
After a quick visit half an hour before closing tonight, I'm already a major fan...
