Chris: Thumbs up all the way around. Nice staff. The backstage has been renovated since the last time we were there and it is very nice. The guy in charge of merch was very nice and friendly. One of our best crowds for this tour. Rakim played after our show but we missed it.
Ryan: I like Chicago and I like the Metro. I had my crew (ex-wife, ex-girlfriend, current girlfriend and daughter) there and we did it up. It's a real fun place to play and watch shows.

Chris: Our hour sound check turned into a five minute sound check due to the reasons Jeff stated above. Maybe we shouldn't have stole the instruction manual for the monitor board? The staff was nice. The food they made us was very good. I had salmon and a salad. I was very impressed with the upper level stadium seating. Nice to be across the street from Fenway.

Ryan: It was brand new when we played there (2/26/09 w/ Jimmy Eat World) so the green room and all of the backstage were immaculately clean. The staff was real nice. I would give it four stars myself.
Jeff: I had the C #2 and it was delicious.
Patrick: Pad Thai. Tofu Vegetables. Extra spicy. Awesome.

Ryan: I had vegetable fried rice. It was good.

Patrick: The only thing that's haunted about this place is the 15 foot mural of a buff dude with a handgun and a big penis. And I like that.
Amy: Yuengling and bathroom security. I bit it hard coming out the back door into the alley in my heels.
Chris: The streets smell like fish, and I don't like that. This is the coolest looking room of the whole tour so far. The stage is definitely haunted. If you have a single coil pickup guitar you're fucked with tons of noise. The production manager was rad. They don't take any of your merch money and that rules.
Ryan: Ghosts don't bother me, we have a thing worked out. It sounded great. The front of house sound guy (Frank? s orry) was very cool. I would give it 5 stars.

Chris: Everyone who works there is great. They take excellent care of the bands performing. They fed us lunch and dinner. I definitely recommend the vegetarian meatball sub. The sound is great on stage as well as off. I love it here.
Ryan: This place is great to perform at. The sound is good, there's a cool balcony to stand and watch bands play, and they have a bunch of great vegetarian/vegan stuff to eat. Bonus if you get to see them move the stage forward at the end of the night.
Jean (the GPS unit): Keep left.
Patrick: One of the best clubs in the US of A. Also, it's ironic how some of the best salsa is so damn far away from Mexico. And I like that.

Patrick: Horace Byrd is my homeboy. An honest job done well. The dude behind the counter was replaced by a women behind a clipboard and I like that.

Jeff: I was standing in the lobby and a women in there tried to get Ryan and I to switch to Verizon. I told her it was too expensive. She asked what I had and I said T-Mobile. She didn't say anything after that, and that made me happy.
Chris: There was something really eerie about the Verizon store. I think it was haunted.

Amy: Joe offered me some of his chicken steak.
Chris: I really loved Joe's dog Cannon. Real sweet dude. Normally on Sunday the place closes at 8 but Joe let us stay until 11:30 which was much appreciated.
Ryan: This place was pretty cool. We rocked it for 6 hours. The supplied amps aren't all that hot but we brought our own in so it didn't matter.
Patrick: Must love dogs. And I do.

Barcelona Bar
Category: Bars
Neighborhoods: Theater District, Hell's Kitchen
Patrick: I was there for maybe an hour. I mistakenly though the name of the bar was "Barcelona Bat". Is it just me or is that name a little bit more catchy? A message to the owners of this bar: when you decide to change the name give me a call. Keep up the good work.

Date

Chris: Total chaos during check in at one in the morning. I think the entire wedding party was in the lobby. Overall it was a sad night because Ryan didn't stay with us and Patrick had to fly back to California and leave the tour.
Ryan: I stayed somewhere else.
