As far as diners go, this place will definitely hit the spot once you've consumed a few beers down the street and need some greasy food. Meh omelet.. also no cheese? An omelet with no cheese? blasphemy! The waitress was so sweet though and even got the kitchen to cook up my friends on the menu order. I should have known better coming here at 2am and it was completely empty, that's a sign.

Opera Nightclub

I left my pride, shame, and dignity at Opera..and back in 2011 when I spent NYE here. I won't get into all the details, but lets just say I'm still nursing my wounds from that night.
I've been to Opera twice now and have had great service, although both times I was there was VIP *which I did not pay for* So you are guided by a waitress to your own private area which is nice, so you don't have to confront all the seemingly douche bouncers, or wait in line in the freezing cold in your freak-em dress, or pay a large cover charge. Everyone in awhile they have big name DJ's here and it usually draws quite a crowd, which was on my first visit to Opera. Staff was pretty nice * from what I remember* I definitely look forward to seeing some of the big DJ acts coming to town in 2012!

So I ended up here on a girls night out after a friend invited me. This place is super laid back, the waitress we had was awesome, and the clientele there was very friendly everyone just wanted to have a good time and that's definitely one thing I like about this place. everyone from the staff to patrons was friendly. Also if you are sensitive to smoke you may not want to check it out, despite their boasting of a great filtration system is is darn smokey in there.

They pride themselves on various types of scotch, have cigar lockers for regular clientele, and also a small cigar room where you can purchase your stogies. This place is great for a girls ( or guys) night out.

Piranha Nightclub

This is definitely where the locals go to party, or as my friend David K. calls this area...the fruit loop. Scattered amongst a few other gay bars and located of the strip we decided to take a cab there one night. I was totally thrown of by the $20 cover charge to get in (since were not locals), but my date was kind enough to pay my share. Piranha is located in the rear of 8 1/2 so it was kind of like 2 clubs in one, Piranha is the dance area, equipped with go go dancers and all. All in all a pretty laid back place, at least the night we were there to get your booty shaking on!

Zucca Bar & Pizzeria

Who knew a pizza place by day would turn into a nightclub at night, and in Smyrna no less. I used to get takeout from them when I lived near by so I was surprised that I had no idea this place turned into a club on Saturday nights. I can say this place is definitely an ego booster ladies, guys hitting on you left and right..although they are definitely the wrong kind of guys. I will say this place has some good people watching though, so 2 stars alone for that!

BB King's Blues Club

I ate at BB King's almost every morning for breakfast when visiting the Vegas, well at least when I wasn't too hungover and lazy to take the elevator 19 floors down to get some grub. This is a good place to get some breakfast if you are staying at the Mirage. check for the specials on mimosas and bloody Mary's. The bar staff was super duper nice, and I appreciated having my morning cup of coffee with them during my stay.

Great place for a little afternoon bite, this bar is very quaint but their patio with a lovely fireplace is awesome. Typical bar fare with a small menu. It can be a bit tricky to find as evidenced of me being late, but it's almost in the same parking lot as a quick trip. Food was good as I ordered the chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon..and really you can never go wrong with those two!

So after spending 5 hours here during my last visit I suppose I can give an accurate review. there aren't allot of food options here before the gate, so make sure and wait to get pass security to get some grub. Getting a taxi at the airport is pretty much quick and painless even around busy times, but be aware to taxi should cost you over $25 to get to the strip ( yea I learned the hard way). I guess seeing the slot machines once again on my departure just added insult to loosing all my money injury.

So after a friend Mentioned this place to me many months ago, I finally had to check them out. So I called in my order, the man on the other line was more than rude and pretty much just hung up on me once I was done placing my order, I wasn't even sure he got my whole order. I received the same treatment when I walked in to pickup my telephone order- he never got off the phone the whole time, or thanked me. I mean a "thank you" is the least I expect to have when patronizing a business.

I alone would give the wings a 4 or 5 star, they were excellent. Crispy and the hot honey BBQ sure did do the trick. But I just can't give my business to a place that treats is customers like that.
