Shabuway is a great place for shabu shabu! The price is pretty reasonable, I remember it's around $12 for a plate of beef and a bowl of veggie/tofu.
When I came here, I got the plate of (lean) beef. I believe that if you order a meal, it comes with a bowl of rice as well. What I love about shabu shabu is that you cook your own food. It's a fun and interactive way to have a meal. The sauces they offer for dipping tastes good and goes well with the meat. For me, shabu shabu is all about the beef, and this place does not disappoint.
It can get packed for dinner time, especially during the weekends, so it's a good idea to go early. The space in this restaurant isn't that big, so it gets crowded easily. You'll probably be seated fast if you come during early dinner hours, but there will be a wait if you come later.

Dae Jang Keum Korean BBQ & Tofu Restaurant
A Korean restaurant that's open 24-hours. I like the sound of that already, especially during the middle of the night when I'm craving Korean food!
We ordered the Love set, japchye, and a salmon dish. Way too much food. The Love set itself would have been enough, but I guess we also wanted to try some of their non-BBQ dishes. The BBQ items are pretty good, and I've got no complains.
Would probably come back here, but after I've tried some of the other Korean restaurants in the area.

It's a quick drive away from the strip, and located in Chinatown with all the other Asian restaurants.
It's a typical Chinese/HK restaurant. Food was okay. The BBQ items are okay, but I think they could be better. Not bad though. We also ordered some non-BBQ items, and they were pretty tasty. It's a good place to grab a quick bite, as they served us pretty fast.
Note, this place is cash-only!

This restaurant is located in the Venetian Hotel, and they serve a variety of noodle, rice, and dim sum dishes.
The price is a bit high, but surprisingly, the food was pretty good. We came here around dinner time, and the service was pretty fast. Noodle soups came out before the dry noodles. I noticed that the dry noodle had more noddles/veggies/meat than the soup kind.
I think they open late, so it would probably make a good late-night meal. I will come back the next time I'm in Vegas.

It's a Malaysian restaurant that not only serves Malaysian dishes, but also some Thai, Filipino, and even a Korean BBQ dish! I only tried the Malaysian dishes here, so I can't speak for the other ones.
I think their satay is pretty good and their peanut sauce is not bad. I had the prawn mee, but I thought this dish could be improved. It definitely smelled like prawn mee, but when I tasted it, I felt like something was missing. Also, the broth looked really red and spicy, but it actually wasn't spicy at all.
Their food is actually not that bad, but I wouldn't call it 100% authentic. I think the price is reasonable, but I think their food could be improved a bit to be justified at that price.

I don't eat Korean-Chinese food too often now, but I had a craving for jajangmyun (black bean sauce over hand-pulled noodles) the other day, so I decided to try Four Season's dish.
I ordered the jajangmyun and an appetizer of 6 pieces of dumplings. The dumplings are nothing special, and you can skip it and find better dumplings elsewhere. However, the jajangmyun is great! I think they give you a pretty big portion of it as well. I especially enjoy their noodles, which has a good texture when you are chewing on it. The black bean sauce could use a little more onions and meat, but I would still be satisfied with their sauce as is.
I'll have to come back and try their other dishes, maybe I'll get the Champohng next time!

I passed by this restaurant a few weeks ago when it was just recently open. It was a Saturday night, and there were crowds of people in front of the entrance. I didn't eat here that time, but I thought I would give it a try later....and I did, on a weekday lunch time. Only two other tables besides ours were full. I suspect they get more customers during dinner time.
If you are a Mandarin speaker, you won't have any problem ordering here. If you don't speak Mandarin, there are English translation on the menu, but I guess sometimes you might need Mandarin for special requests. I don't know how well the staff speaks English, but for Mandarin speakers, you will have no problems.
The food comes in huge portions. So much that we were able to make one and a half meal from the leftovers. Their food is pretty decent, and it's a good deal for how much food they give. I didn't find their food to be that special (though it's decent), but I like that they are open late.

If you are planning to come here on Saturday later morning/early afternoon, which is what I did, be prepared for a long wait! Reservations are highly recommended, especially if you are with a big party.
I think the food is worth the wait. Good dim sum food, and each little dish was served hot. There's nothing worse than cold dim sum dishes! I think the food is pretty authentic. The dim sum cart roll around very often, so if you happen to miss one, don't worry, the lady will come pushing it by again!

A nice little gem! They serve yakitori, which are grilled meat and/or veggies on a stick. There are also some side dishes such as ochazuke (rice in tea/soup broth), onigiri (grilled rice balls), ramen, and more!
The place is a little small, and there can be a bit of a wait if you want to sit at a table. If you don't mind sitting at the bar, and since the bar is usually empty you can be seated there immediately. Reservations are a good idea, especially if you have a big party.
You won't find sushi here, but anyone who is looking for something else besides sushi should come here. They have a variety of grilled items (chicken thigh, chicken breast, liver, heart, gizzards, kobe beef, pork belly, mushroom, tofu, etc.) For some items, you can choose what kind of sauce you want it with. Each item costs an average of about $2.00. I prefer eating the grilled meat items rather than the vegetables, but the tofu is pretty good as well.
I enjoyed eating here, and will definitely return.

What I highly recommend here are the xui cao, which are wonton-like dumplings filled with juicy shrimps inside. You can order them with noodles or alone. What I usually do is order the noodle + xui cao and a bowl of xui cao alone in soup to share with a friend. This way, we can have more xui cao with not too much noodles. I think their noodles are just average, so you won't be missing out much if you skip it. The xui cao, on the other hand, is a must have. And this is coming from from someone who doesn't eat shrimp most of the time.
This place is cash only, and it's not a really fancy restaurant. But I think it is worth coming here for the xui cao.
