Friendly group of people. There are public nights, but you can stop by anytime anyone's around if you are interested in membership.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I could probably eat here every other day, except my heart would give out.  The cheeseburger is the norm for me, which contains two beef patties, american cheese, and whatever topics you want.  You can only get it well done, but it still nice and juice (and tastes great).  Regular fries, which are nice and crisp on the outside, could easily be enough for 3 people (maybe 2 really hungry people).  The only downside I've found is that they throw your burger in a paper bag, then put your fries on top, which can make a interesting maneuver to fetch your burger without burning your hands on the fries.

I've eaten here a few times, the pastrami I'd have again, it's rather tasty.  The corned beef is ok, as is the knish.  They throw some pickles on the side with the sandwich, which were kind of at their extremes, either too sour or too bland (the half-sour ones tasted like I was just eating a cucumber).  They loose a point for being freakin' expensive.  Expect to pay at least $20/person for an average meal and good luck finding a seat during prime hours.

I went here because it was close and a friend I was with had eaten there previously.  The Italian Sausage pizza was pretty good, although I really wasn't expecting a thin crust pizza (the large size make up for it).  Service was decent, although it was pretty cramped (in fact, there are tables before you ever get to the hostess).

Ninja New York

To start off, if you don't like having your live threatened (even not for real), don't go here.  Everyone is dress as ninjas and will try to scare the crap out of you whenever you aren't paying attention, like reaching for your neck when they are setting your food down.

The japaneseish food was tastey, pretty pricey for what it is though.  I had one of the course menu items, which had sushi, salmon, and brisket.  I was stuffed by the last course.

Overall, I'd go again if someone else wanted to experience it.  It's pretty fun once, but I can see the ninja act getting old a second/third time around.

Their selection of hot dogs a pretty good, although I'd like a dog that was a bit bigger.  The fries are tasty also.

If you are in the neighborhood and feel like eating a cheese steak, then this is the place to go.  It's a bit pricey, but what would you expect for a tourist-type place.  Try the cherry soda too.

Geno's Steaks

For a place that hypes itself up, Geno's cheese steaks are pretty bad (especially for the price).  I've had them a couple of times and I had one where the beef tastes like they marinated it in a bucket of fish.  If you are by Geno's, might as well go across the street to Pat's.
