My favorite dinner place in Waikiki, hands down. It feels like home as soon as you walk down the steps. Super-friendly staff all the way around. You can tell this has been LOTS of peoples' go-to spot for a long time - many of the customers seem to know each other - which says a lot.

Come hungry! As tempting as it may be, don't fill up on the soup and salad bar. I've sampled the menu quite a bit by now. There's a reason so many Yelpers rave about their prime rib. Definitely a specialty! I've also had the pleasure of enjoying steak and scallops, lobster, clams, and fish specials. A great treat if you're at the bar and not SUPER-hungry is the prime dip from the pupus menu. It quite literally melts in your mouth.

Only thing I haven't had a chance to indulge in is dessert, since I'm always filled up from the main course! I've seen mud pies and souffles come out, which look entirely delicious. They have live music every night, which as a music lover, I totally appreciate. No TV's at the bar (a welcome escape from the norm), just a fish tank, which in itself provides quality entertainment. Especially after a few Long Boards.

In the words of Yelp, Chuck's truly is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!"

Deliciously delectable goodies from top-notch establishments, an amazingly unique choice of venue, and a fun-loving community vibe shared by all in attendance. Event planners near and far should strive to make everything they do as awesome as Pleying with Yelp.

100% EH. No need to ever go back. I really need to learn to have faith in my fellow Yelpers... but every now and then, a place like this entices me in with its alley appeal. Don't waste your time.

Had a great experience in the "classroom," which is actually a real working bar inside Nashville Waikiki (cool spot!). The class was small and our instructor, Rory, really knew his stuff. A great introduction to bartending for someone with absolutely no experience, but I have a feeling people with some experience could benefit also. If you're interested in bartending, this is a great place to start.

WOW. Just got back, and everything is a little sore. I'm not in the best shape of my life, so I definitely could have been more prepared for the trek. There was a group of Army medics huffing and puffing behind us the whole way up, so I guess I shouldn't feel too bad. At least there are plenty of places to pull over if you need to rest.

A couple of quick tips... Go early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid being blasted by the sun, also the views are even more spectacular at these times... Bring water, or Gatorade, or an IV to stay hydrated... Don't let the not-so-distant sound of gunfire phase you. The shooting range below is most likely far enough away to block stray bullets... If you're not a fan of heights, you may want to steer clear of "the bridge" via the small path on the side... Finally, WEAR SHOES! We saw a chick going up in slippers - made me shake my head out loud.

Extremely tasty food and super-friendly service. Also helps that it's just a block away from our spot! I'll use Yelp's own 5 star explanation: "Woohoo! As good as it gets!"

One star for having the most genuinely nice person that I've encountered serving at the International Market Place. A second star for offering a solid selection of vegetarian choices. Star #3 is because the food was decent - by no means spectacular, but it's just fine for a food court.

Quirky little place right by the water. Costs a bit more than it should. Could be a really nice place if they invested in a remodel... but it definitely has character.

Great place. Friendly staff. Good beer. Their veggie burgers are fantastic. Small, but if you call for a reservation, you should be in good shape.

There is a little sign on the walls for employees that says "Make your customers feel special." I don't think anyone ever takes the time to read it. People aren't rude, but there aren't a ton of smiles, and the couple of times I've been there, the service is unbelievably SLOW. When you're part of a chain, those are the things that make you stand out. These folks don't stand out.
