I don't know about their other services, but if you want to go lighter -- especially if you want to go white-blond from dark brown -- don't bother with this place. I had had my hair bleached back in April, and after finding a Lifebooker coupon for a double process at this place, stopped by for a consultation and explained what I wanted to see if I could use the coupon, which I was told I could. The rest of the hair had a tinge of yellow, which I wanted gone, and when I told this to the stylist, Vera, I figured she understood that I meant I wanted to lighten the part that had already been bleached and to do the roots to match, because that's how sane people think, and she seemed rational enough.
What I ended up with is the white-blond I wanted -- with ORANGE roots. She used regular single process dye on my hair, saying she doesn't like to use bleach because it's too damaging. She told me she wasn't going to use bleach from the beginning, which should have been a huge red flag, but based on the color swatch she showed me, I foolishly assumed she just had some weird but effective method.
Once she was done and blowdrying my hair, she kept going on about how much healthier the roots looked than the rest of it, and at one point went so far as to say bleached hair is "too '80s." Completely unnecessary and rude.
She told me I could come back in in two months so we could cut off more of the white-blond and dye the roots her version of blond again. The fact that she thought it would be okay for anyone to walk around with orange hair sandwiched between dark brown and white-blond hair is unbelievable. I don't know how she does dying light hair darker, but if it's anything like her lightening skills, she should stick to cutting. She trimmed my hair and the cut looks perfectly fine, but I'm asking for a refund on the color, and going elsewhere to have it fixed.

A non-rating-affecting note: You probably will get stared at while your nails are drying, because you'll be facing the street. At one point a guy stared me down and after a few moments yelled, "I thought that was a mannequin!"
