Brian's Nails is a true oasis. First off, its family owned and operated for decades -- and the crew working there is all part of the family and friends still! You get that vibe walking in here, where all of the staff is close and shares that warmth and welcome with the clientele coming in.

Secondly, the the quality is fantastic. The gel manicures are flawless, and wildly enough they are speedy too. Masters of their crafts, for real! Not to mention -- the prices cannot be beat. Quality and affordability? Ummm sign me up.

The one thing to be aware of is -- make an appointment! I saw a couple walk-ins get turned away while I was there. Do yourself a favor and call ahead just to make sure! They are popular for a reason.

Got a mani/pedi here this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. We didn't have an appointment on a Sunday, but still we're able to get 2 seats immediately even with a packed house.

I got a gel manicure with a regular pedi. The scrub and massage for my pedi was lovely, and the manicure was above and beyond! They gave me a back massage after finishing my hands?! I've never gotten that. It felt like a royal treatment, but I just got the regs haha.

I have def found my nail salon in SC! Affordable, great job, and spa-like in their treatments -- I'm stoked :)

Came here with a large group before a show at the Orpheum. Was looking forward to snacks and drinks before a show, so the 2 stars are for having both affordable snacks and cocktails under one roof!

The negative...
- Really slow. It took almost an hour to get one round of drinks and the food for our group made. We ended up paying the bill and running out before we got everything nearly 1.5 hours after ordering
- Ridiculous charges. A few people in our group were not drinking and tried to order soda waters. They charged us $10 for the 2 soda waters with lime we ordered, and another $5 for the lime juice with a splash of water they accidentally made for us but nobody ordered.
- Not equipped to feed a large group. We spent about $600 on cocktails & food when we left, but we didn't get all the food we paid for and believe things were added to the bill that we didn't order. It's on us for needing to exit quickly and not having time to debate the bill, but we had a mot of questions. Our bill even had question marks printed on it next to the line items??

So net net... convenient for drinks and snacks before a show at the Orpheum, but they are not equipped to handle large groups for food & cocktails... which seems odd for a dim sum place.

Went in for an hour massage today because my back was killing me and my shoulders were tight. Lisa gave me a lovely massage with all the pressure I needed! She checked in often to make sure she wasn't hurting me and focused on areas that I mentioned needed work. She was sweet and attentive. $55 for the hour felt extremely fair, and I will certainly be back!
