I'm easily amused and they have a cool tub that will quickly chill your wine. Cool!
I think the best part is the view and just being near the river. It's comforting and calming.
I wish I was an alcoholic because then I would have taken advantage of the 1/2 priced wine by the glass (on a Monday?!) But I'm not so I had to pass this time.
I had a salad and pasta combo. Great portions for the price. I loved that the dressing was on the side so I didn't feel like my salad was served soggy.
The pasta was quite heavy as I had a fettuccine alfredo type of pasta. I only finished half and took the rest to go.
I think this would be a great brunch spot...I want to come again for brunch and a mimosa on a warm Sunday morning!
It was quaint and cozy. They did pull off a French feel.
The service was good - very attentive staff and they were knowledgeable about the menu.
I had a tomato basil soup which was quite heavy - definitely a cream based soup and it was a little on the salty side.
My entree was a croissant sandwich which had brie and cucumber. It was quite nice and much lighter than the soup. However, they served some delicious fries - so I definitely had a full tummy.
We really wanted to try the pumpkin cheesecake as it sounded so good and it being fall and all. Maybe next time I'll skip the soup!
It's a whole in the wall, authentic place. Tacky, dated decor, and friendly service. I like this! They even start you off with a spring roll or cup of soup - nice touch!
Per my boyfriend's recommendation I had the drunken noodles and I added tofu. I got 2 of 4 spicy and well it was still very spicy! That definitely warmed me up.
The veggies were good, the tofu was more bland than usual, and the noodles were pretty bland too I thought. For the price and portion it was a good deal, but not something I'd order again.
I'd come back to try one of the rice dishes - it makes for a cheap lunch!
The guides really make this tour fun. We had a great enthusiastic young girl who referred to everyone by region. Georgia, Minnesota, and my boyfriend and I were San Francisco. She would say, "San Francisco stand here...go there." It just made me smile.
It's not every day you get to go into a cave. So seeing the rock formations was fun and brought me back to Jr. High.
Of course the waterfall is the best part and it takes you about 30 minutes to get to it. They light it up with different colors and even put on some "ooooh, aaaah" type of music. The best part is walking around the waterfall and peeking up at it. It really does look like diamonds falling and not water. One of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
After you're done check out some of the views from the tower. It's pretty breathtaking. Eastern Tennessee is just one of the most beautiful places in the country.
The answer is YES! Tennessee you just keep blowing my mind! Just when I think you can't any better you prove me wrong!
This place is gigantic. You can spend hours in here and we did! There's an array of fish to see and turtles, sharks, snakes, and alligators!! The seahorses and jellyfish were cute. Who doesn't love watching River Otters play?
They had a great butterfly exhibit too..yes a butterfly exhibit in the aquarium. Odd? Yes, but fascinating. They fly right up on you! It's really cool!
The area itself is great too. Lots of little restaurants around and very scenic along the river. My suggestion is to cross over the river to the Northshore area. Tons to do and eat!
Have fun!
It's a tiny airport, but on one occasion the security check point was really backed up due to only one xray machine going. So still get their a little early just in case!
The airline personnel seem average like at most airports. Poor people get burnt out so quickly...
The facility itself is clean, modern, and inviting. Big beautiful windows make the airport bright and there's even artwork around and rocking chairs to lounge around in to soak in the grind of what's going on in and outside the airport.
Starbucks is always lacking something - no splenda or maybe no stir sticks...so it must be popular. Funny story - a guy in line asked to have his latte made with heavy whipping cream...no joke. I love the South.

South's Finest Chocolate Factory

The staff is just as friendly. Happy Ladies who have a passion for chocolate and can make any assortment into a cute gift.
They had a really nice selection of sugar-free chocolates for those friends that may be diabetic.
Definitely worth a visit, but no tacky tourist stuff here. Just chocolate and a few knick knacks. Definitely doesn't have the cool feel of the downtown location, but what's important is the chocolate and it's soooo good!
We came for dessert, but then decided we had to get a couple of appetizers. My boyfriend and I are suckers for Caprese salad. It's so simple and so tasty. The presentation was lovely. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes which were dressed up a bit with a little shredded cheese and prosciutto. What a way to liven up such a classic southern specialty.
Now on to the dessert. You must try the toffee bread pudding!!! With a scoop of ice cream....orgasmic...really!
We were pigs and also tried the peanut butter pie. Very rich and decadent, which I loved. This dessert is only if you have a major sweet tooh (like me) otherwise it may be too much and one bite will suffice.
The service was good. We were seated right away. Our waiter was super friendly. He was also knowledgeable about the menu, made us laugh, and just had that Southern finesse which I love.
The only hiccup was that a little bug fell into my water glass...but that was replaced.
Definitely worth a visit - go check it out!

Rude service (hipsters who are "too cool for you" work here).
Mediocre coffee. I love the fact they are trying to be green, but who cares about that if the people working suck.
I'd go to Starbucks any day over this crap.
