Current CrushIt's a great big space with all kinds of seating and a HUGE wine selection. Their $13 flights are a good place to start - 3 good pours of any of their wines.
Mondays, 25% off bottles!
They have SMALL snacks - all $12. Hummus (various types) or a cheese plate. Staff are very nice!
They only have 2 parking spots, so park on the street!

Plenty of street parking.
A small venue for music. Nice big bar, small outside smoking patio. And random hot dogs for food.
A pretty cool place!

HOWEVER, I don't know that is worth with 45 minute wait. I mean maybe if you come ALONE - so you can quickly get a counter seat --- the place holds 14 people. NO groups of 4 or more, expect maybe the ONE table outside. I was there at 2pm on Sunday and my group was 3 people.
The side salad and fries were great as well. It's pricy but the food is good. Not worth the wait though.....

I liked everything we got - of the things we ordered:
the seafood and chive pancake was great
the hot pot was good but a closing in on too spicy for me
the beef (no bone) was very good even though it looks so unappetizing.
Of the freebies:
the corn with cheese thing was good (how can it not be?)
the boiled pot stickers - yum
salad, fine
tea, great
soup, good
* they cook in the back here, not at your table!
I can't wait to try Korean again!

Bruschetta was very good - I love the creativity and great price. Perfect to share. I can't wait to try 4 more types - my fav was the prosciutto and figs one....
I also recommend sharing the tri tip salad - which the split for you.
Good selection of wines by varying price. We had a bottle of a great red and the above for $55! Also the "live music" on this Friday was very soft - which I much prefer.
Will be back!

Golden Gate Bridge

The GGB has been a part of my commute for 5 years and 9 months. As of December, it will no longer be my daily drive.
The bridge means a lot of things to me, esp as I have headed over it, exiting the first exit to get to work in the Marin Headlands - there is no public transit out there on weekdays people.
Some notables, good and bad:
- Seeing it gleam in the sun with the city beaming behind it.
- Carpool
- Painting season - when you can expect red splotches on your car
- Suicide jumpers :(
- Those morning runners and bikers that I came to recognize
- Carpool.
- When carpool decided to sing "CARRRPOOOLLLL" to the toll booth peeps for what seemed like 40 days straight, in hopes that they would know us.
- The month when there was 2 fatal head on collisions. Gnarling traffic and scaring me.
- After said accidents, avoiding the "suicide lane" - which is the center lane, closest to oncoming traffic
- How my car moves 12 feet to the side in a bad winter storm. The wind is CRAZY up there!
- Carpool
- That biker lady that I came inches from killing with my car on the exit off-ramp bc she rode through the stop sign. I hope you $hit your pants lady, and I hope you never run stop signs again.
- Walking across to Sausalito and having an awesome lunch at Cavallo Point with my bf
- Running across while training for the half marathon
AND
- The fabulous bitchfests with my carpool gals on the way home from the office.
But the best view of the bridge is at the Yacht Club in Sausalito.
I will miss so many things about the gorgeous GGB!! However, I can tell you one thing I won't miss AT ALL...... the TOLL!!!!!$$

The best thing about Dr La is that she takes the time to thoroughly understand your insurance coverage - this is an invaluable tool!
On my first visit she helped explain all that I could get with my coverage - I was skeptical, like "is she trying to screw me out of more money?" But she was not in the slightest - she really wanted me to get the most from my coverage. I ended up getting AWESOME Vera Wang prescription sunglasses: For out of pocket expenses of $45.
My more recent visit was for contacts. After the rebate she helped me get, I will pay out of pocket $22.
Love Dr La!

Yes its fine diner food - but it's totally average. I have been there twice and was disappointed both times. 10 off% if you stay at the hotel next door.
The serving size is enormous - one dish can feed 3 girls. And for that amount the price is fine. The service can be slow, the egg dishes SOUND creative but they are just thrown together. Potatoes = BORING. Maybe I need to try the pancakes next time?
I would rather drive all the way to Poway for the The Original Pancake House, but next time I am downtown I will try Cafe 222.
Date

$4 beers, the BEST view of the GGB bridge in all of the bay area and some pretty good burgers - when they feel like offering them.
The map on this Yelp review is wrong. It is right by Cavallo Point - directly across from the Marina.
Be sure to check the website for hours - they are a bit unusual. I'll miss all my work related drinking escapades here!
