They recently instituted a no unaccompanied minors policy on the weekends after 3, and that seems to have helped with the issues of roving bands of disruptive teens. It was a problem that another local mall dealt with in the same way. (Mayfair) I support this policy because last time I was at Bayshore, I was there with my niece. There were multiple groups of teenagers swearing and acting out...loudly and on purpose. So I was going to only give them 3 stars, but with this new policy I need to up it to 4 because the atmosphere has improved with the new policy. Good job Bayshore, now make it weeknights as well.

Now I admit. I'd heard some bad things about this bar from locals. I heard it's where many fights happen. I heard that it can get really crowded. I heard it's loud.
Well, I experienced none of those. But I was there on a Wednesday night. I walked into the place and there were 3 people there. 1 guy, and 2 women. One of the women was a bartender coming off shift. The other woman was the owners daughter coming on shift. And the guy was the owner himself, Griz.
I've got to say, I had so much fun there. Throughout the night people were coming in to have a few while making the rounds and heading out the door. The people watching was excellent. Clientelle was about as diverse as anywhere else up here. Mostly white and Indian. Age range was all over the board. Still, for most of the evening it was just the owners daughter and I. Boy is she a cutie. Very sweet, and very honest, and she kicked my butt in bar dice. Actually, everyone was really friendly.
Drinks. They actually had my sweet tea vodka here. I was floored. So I drank a lot of it. I think it was 4 bucks for a really strong tall. No clue how much beer was but I'd guess 2.50 or 3 for a Miller Lite. They also carry a north woods staple of mine, ginger brandy. The stuff is delicious! Many a games a bar dice = many a shots. Sadly, I paid for most. It was a bad luck night. But I think they were 2 or 3 dollars. Not sure.
Anyway, the place has a stage and Griz does his best to bring in touring talent that is in the neighborhood. I wish I could have been there the weekend before. He had a really good Johnny Cash cover band I'd actually seen before. But alas, a weekend too late. Other than that, there's a few TV's on the wall for the games, plenty of video slots, and a bonafied dance floor. They also have an internet juke that we were playing all night.
The pizza here, like around the rest of Crandon, are frozen. However, the Jailhouse has a list of around 10 toppings you can add to the pizza. I think the whole thing ended up costing around 12 dollars with everything added and it was awesome!
I will most definitely be heading back here next time I'm in Crandon. Yes, it makes for a rough morning, but damn I had fun last time. Pop in and check it out.
Only knock I have on it is the restaurant portion is small. That's about it.

De Marinis Dom & Phil's Pizza & More On Conwy Pzza

A tip for those that are looking for good pizza, go to Mama De Marini's instead. Far superior product. Don't confuse the two since Mama's is right down the street on Wentworth.

We picked up tickets for around 35% off so they were pretty reasonable. The theatre itself is quite nice. It's not too big, but not really tiny. I think the seats we got, were perfect because we were close enough to the stage to see details, but far enough away to see everything.
The MC was great, the singers were really good. Music selection was good. The skits they did were also pretty good. The girls were hot as hell.
Now, I feel really bad for the cast. Holly Madison is completely talentless. She is not funny, she can't sing, she can barely dance, she looks good though and I guess that was enough with her name to get her on this ticket. There was on fan who was acting like a stalker, screaming her name to the point security was on hand just in case.
Overall, this was a pretty classy well done show. I don't think I'd drop the money again to see it, but if they can hold the cast for a new show once "The talentless one" is gone, I'd certainly go see them again.

The Price is Right Live
Category: Performing Arts
The format is a little different that TV. They call up 4 people to bid on the item, then the winner plays, then 4 new people are called up to bid. In between rounds, 4 people are called that win a consolation prize of some sort but I didn't catch what it was.
So anywho, 3 rounds of people playing games, then spinning the wheel, then 3 more rounds, then 2 people are called up for the showcase. The prizes aren't nearly as good as the TV version, but then again what do you expect? I'm sure if the theater was packed every show the quality and budget would go up for better prizes.
Don't overbid on the showcase! For god's sake people! The two bidders both overbid on our showcase. One bid 40,000???? WTF? and the other Bid $18,000. The showcase ended up being worth $13k.
I would definitely do this again. It was a lot of fun, and I have no regrets even if I didn't get to "Come on down."
LAX is located inside of Luxor. Walking up, there didn't appear to be any system that resembled a proper line. Fortunately, I signed up on the guest list, so we stepped up to the VIP entrance. The guy screening the list found my name, but said I only signed up for 1 person. This is completely false and I hate this type of shadyness. So he said he'd take care of me, but someone would have to pay entry. So even though I signed up, I still ended up paying a cover because of course they let my girlfriend in for free, but I had to pay 30 dollars. Yup. BS already. On the upside we only waited 5 minutes, which was really nice and made the gf happy.
Anyway, the layout and decor of this place is pretty damn cool. It's very gothy and dark. The sound and light systems are fantastic. Yup. That's about all I got for the good.
Like some of the other reviewers said, this place is stupid packed. Now being a hot club, I sort of expected it. However, we couldn't even dance without jackasses slamming into us. And that's what it was like across the entire floor. The music was passable for the first 30 minutes we were there and then it switched over to nothing but rap. No dance music, just hip hop. Imagine a few hundred people wedged into one area all grinding on each other. It was disgusting. On top of that, there was no good path through the crowd so people were trying to move back and forth through that crowd all night.
Drinks. Yeah, well, they were outrageous. My cocktail ran 18 dollars. It also took 20 minutes to get while maneuvering in crowds that weren't unlike those that were on the dance floor.
Restrooms? I have no idea. I had one cocktail and didn't dare venture to find the restroom.
And like Yasmin said, the friggin security is ridiculous. They pretty much ring the whole dance floor. While I didn't feel like there would be a fight (I was getting close to swinging at one guy who almost knocked my drink out of my hand twice, but only came close) I did get that feeling like I was in prison.
The VIP bottle service seems like the way to go here. But I'm not stupid or rich enough to drop $550 with tip to hang out at a place where we had no room to enjoy ourselves.
So bottom line, $30 cover + $22 cocktail with tip + douche central + poor management = I will not be coming back here. There are too many other places that treat you much better and you can breathe in. Now that the chickie has been to a "real" club, I doubt she'll ever want to go to another one haha.

There pizza is ok. Usually I get my sandwich, but occasionally I'll eat pizza. I really can't say I care for the peperoni they use. It's very smoky. But overall it's still good.
We've never had a problem with service, but then again, we've known most of the people working there for a long tim.
