Neither I or my son are much of meat eaters, but he had the urge for a burger and Ruby Tuesday was just down the road, so off we went. Upon entering Ruby's you see the salad bar, it looked great. For a Wednesday afternoon the place was quite crowded but we found a nice booth with a view to the parking lot and the mountains.
Our server was there in a matter of minutes with menus and to take drink orders. I went for the blackberry iced tea. The menu is not large, but the pictures of the meaty burgers all served with fries looked inviting. My son chose the three meat burger. He asked if there was another choice rather than fries and the server said that he thought they were out of baked potatoes but they may have some au gratin type of a side dish. He said he would check. I had the two mini burgers and salad bar. Orders taken, I was off the salad bar. And what a salad bar it was. Choice of lettece types, everything for salad and even 8-10 side dishes. A good size square plate made scooping up large amounts of stuff easy. I returned with enough stuff for both of us.
Main dishes arrived. The server said that they did have a baked potato and being he got the order mixed up a bit, there would be no charge. My son's burger was not huge but it looked great and after his first bite (probably his first burger in a year), he said it was probably the best burger he had ever had. Then the baked spud came, it must have been 3/4 of a pound, covered with cheese, bacon.
My mini burgers were good, nothing special there, but in combination with some excellent fries and the salad bar, I was satisfied. Oh, the blackberry iced tea was some of the best I have ever had.
Total for the meal, with a hefty 30% tip was just under $30. Not bad, if I get the lust for meat again soon, I will know where to go.

All I can say is WOW.....WOW, what a place. I have been in many Whole Food markets but this one is by far the BEST. I did not even go there to shop, I went for dinner and what an assortment there was to choose from. It took me 20 minutes just to check out all that was available. The only real solution to the "what to eat" problem is that I will have to go back a few dozen time to sample everything that I was interested in. Actually, what I really would like to do is have them assess me a "spoon charge", let me have a spoon and just go around and sample everything. I would probably still be there if I did that.
All kinds of pizza, Italian entrees, 10 varieties of Indian food, 10 of Mexican, a huge salad bar, Sandwich bar, fish station, Oriental noodles you name it, it is there and more, and more, and more. What more can I say.
Check it out if you don't know what you want to eat, but you want some good choices.
Oh, I hope to go there to shop also as from what I saw they have the usual Whole Foods stock of items and more.
