Full Throttle in Centerville gets low marks for giving my wife the "stupid dame" routine when I sent her in with my scooter.

Questioning any customers initial observations of the repair they came to you with is bad enough.  Challenging your conclusions and asking if you are "just guessing" is downright rude.  Implying you can only guess because of your gender is deplorable.

When opening a new dessert place against FIVE other frozen dessert joints (and 7 fast food restaurants) in town of only 16,000, you'd better bring a good game.  Sadly, Galaxy ends up looking like a 100lb asthmatic against the competition.  There are several concerns I have for the place, but none of them really matter against this one:  Their food is not good.  Showcasing frozen custard against ice cream and frozen yogurt seemed to be a niche Galaxy could exploit, but this concrete is a pale excuse.  It's runny rather than supremely creamy and the chocolate was dull and tasted like Nestle Quick had been used for flavor.  The strawberry also tasted artificial and lacked texture.

The problems of poor offerings become exaggerated by a confusing order system, a lack of an easy to see and understand menu, notices listed on post-it notes, and no sense of flow to the counter.  It seems like too much emphasis was placed on the "mix-in" feature, clouding the purpose of not only the order process but distracting from creating a delicious core product.  

The staff was disappointing as well.  They themselves seemed a little confused, lacked personality and had absolutely no lights on upstairs.  Maddening to me was that the owner (I presume) or manager was not really helping staff behind counter, and most importantly, was not interacting with his customers.   The hospitality of an owner was sorely needed to help redeem the customers image.

Lastly, the decor is horrible.  The establishment was clean, but the austere, hard (contemporary) look was unwelcoming and the color palette bordered on obnoxious.

Superior burgers and sides in a great atmosphere.  Gourmet burgers at take out prices.  When you order a bacon burger here, you don't just get a couple slices of pork on your patty, you get smoked bacon, ground into the beef and grilled juicy.  Blue cheese burgers, turkey burgers, all awesome.  

You don't just get a choice of toppings, you get a condiment bar stocked with the expected sliced tomatoes, choice of romaine and iceberg, onions and the normal stuff as well as sauerkraut, jalapeños, and pretty much any sauce you can imagine - including things like Jack Daniels Brown Mustard, horseradish, Tabasco, etc.

Malts are hand dipped and mixed at the bar.  The malt is real and absolutely delicious.  I highly recommended a malted caramel milkshake for dessert.  There will be enough for two - if you feel like sharing.

The wood panneling gives the place a touch of class, but doesn't escape it's casual roots.  TV's carry the sporting event of the day and the music is pleasant mix of 50's and 60's standards (Sinatra, Bennett) and classic rock (Beatles, Spoonful.)

It's not just a great burger, it's a state of mind.  The overall experience with supremely fresh ingredients (no frozen beef, potatos that drop from a cutter and into a frier) superbly trained staff and the ambiance make for an awesome experience.  

I've eaten at eight In-N-Out's in three states and this location is by far my favorite.  I love the outdoor seating, the beautiful gardenias, and the great staff.

Solid Chinese menu with good execution and good prices.  Flavors can be a little basic, but I prefer a place to err on the side of safety.  Would like the hot & spicy dishes to be a bit more potent.  

The pork egg rolls here are the best in the state.  I have made entire meals from these delicious creations

I recommended eating in house.  It's not at all fancy, but the food is outstanding when it's fresh, goes down hill kind of fast.

Surprisingly pleasant and tasty.  The buffet was an excellent value.  Sandwiches were all great.  American dishes were on the buffet and were also excellent (i.e. pot roast.)  Just get in the mind set its ok to use paper plates and cups and you'll love it!  

The girls at the front counter and on the floor were friendly and attentive without being nosy.  I never wanted for anything and I was asked what kind of pizza we would like to see on the buffet.  Our server volunteered a take away soda when our meal was done - awesome!

All the food had an odd taste.  The fried items (sweet & sour pork, wanton, etc.) particularly tasted as though they had been cooked in very overused oil.  Kinda creepy being the only ones in the joint at 5:30 too.
