awesome food. very unique flavors. Service was great for our large group of 10. Love the char flavored tastes.

Get the omakase. Oishi!

Price is very fair for what you get. I think this might be my new favorite place to get food yakatori style.

Fun space, tasty food, price is pretty fair as well. Come her with a small group, or large group (10ish).

Fun hidden spot, via a hot dog store, then through a phone booth. The reason they did this are interesting. Ask the staff for the story.

Environment: Small, humble, rustic, cozy, with a few animals on the walls.
Kick back, relax, enjoy. Talk, listen, catch up
Great for a small group... 2-6. fits maybe 30 total at most.

Drinks: Get the "old flame". Drinks are excellent. Great selection of beers and awesome list of mixed drinks.

Staff: Say hi to jeff and jim. Great people work here.

prices: average about $15 a drink. but the food is very good priced. You can also order from the hot dog store next door so the priced even out.

Overall, come here with a small group of friends you want to catch up with for a fun time. Its no a crazy bar with loud music, but more of a lounge to relax and enjoy your food, ink, and company.

good drinks.
Good bread
food, incredibly greasy and way over priced. Not so good.
service, good.
Seems like a place for overpriced food, large portions, but not much taste, besides the bar drinks.

Come here for drinks, not food. Bad experience. a friend and I came here and it cost us over $70 each. for 1 pizza, 2 appetizers, and 2-3 drinks each.
If in back bay, i'd say go to Sel de la ter, atlantic fish, tapeos, or a bit further down to south end to coppa, toro, or chinatown for a good meal.

Space: 6/10 rather large, table filled space. low lights, white tables, easy to walk around, and i think they have outdoor seating when it is warmer.

Food: 7/10. pretty good. Almost too many things to pick from, but all th dishes seemed very good..nothing too fancy, but nothing bad. one of those really good places that stays consistent.

Service: 8/10; very attentive, quick, humble.

I came here for dinner with 4. We enjoyed the bar drins, and the food was good, but again, nothing uber fancy, but seemingly high end. I'll need to stop by here again to really understand the food though.

Great for couples, large groups, and maybe quiet kids. a large list of dishes on the menu if that is your thing.

Come here for a great place for drinks and some food. Their mac and cheese is realllly good, and many of their appetizers. I've had their seafood dishes and they are okay, but nothing special.

what you really come here for is the ambient, low light, great drinks place for great conversations with friends. they have a few booths, a bar that sits about 10, and a few tables towards the back which can also be reserved for private parties. Great location near the Park Street stop, and nearby several other bars.

Huge plates, great  price
Fresh sauce, fresh seafood, great bread!
Festive environment (especially when they yell out your orders)
Great for groups or couples.
When i have people asking me about italian food or pasta in north end, this is the place that everyone knows and talks about.

There are others, but his place is just great. Nothing super fancy, but great atmosphere and food. It might get a bit messy, but thats why its fun here. Dont expect this to be the wear a tie place, because its all about families, fun, and food.

I'm not sure, but this place is pretty damn good but no one really knows about it. I'm guessing it's their location being on the lower floor not really visible to most people, but every time i come here, i get great service, great, food, and it's easy to get a table.

You get some amazing fresh bread to dip in olive oil, their gyros are served with french fries that can be inside or outside, they have this open dish called the psarapita of which is some kind of fish wrapped and baked served atop of some vegetables, and everything else i have here taste great.

Come here with 2-10.. thy have several tables, the environment is in a basement, but feels quite nice with an assortment of leds scattered throughout and feels kind of like a hotel restaurant (maybe ti is?)

Price is very fair... $10 for a lunch gyro (which you can get for dinner if you ask), and dinners will run maybe 20-30$ if you get some appetizers or drinks. They have a small bar as well if you are just looking for drink though i've never just gone for drinks here.

This is one of those hole in the wall places that just serves up simple quick food thats rather tasty for a great price. Order on the menu, order off they menu, they will make whatever you really want if they can.

Get food to go, or to eat in with the 10 or so tables inside this little place.

It's not that crowded that often and a great stop before catching a movie nearby the boston commons.

come here, spend 10-15$, 30 minutes you'll be out, but sit down as long as you want as it is a very relaxed space, no rush, no rules, just simple and a place to eat a nice hot dish or bowl of hot noodles.

great for 2-5 people. they can make tables for larger, but most tables are setup for 2-5.

What an interesting menu... if your into a bit of an adventure and love a small bite of everything from a pig, this is a place to go.

warm, cozy environment, maybe 15 tables, great service, a large menu somewhat hard to chose from because they offer quite a bit.

From what i recall, the appetizers were a must, the fish pizza was amazing, and the grass fed steak i had to skip because i was too full.

Great price as well here. i think they had a 3-4 preset menu at $35.
