Super helpful and attentive staff with great, naturally made (and scented!) products. Perfect place to buy soaps, shave gear, or gifts for the person who likes to pamper herself... without fillers or fake crap!

Huge portions and an interesting coffee menu make this somewhat noisy diner a good pick for brunch, but the vegetarian skillet lacked flavor to my disappointment. The homemade strawberry jam was made with whole strawberries and tasted great on the massive biscuit, but didn't make up for an otherwise uninspiring meal.

Neide's Salsa & Samba

We arrived around 2:45pm and it was already happy hour, so we ordered up two satisfying, but not brilliant, Mai Tais. We then ordered the panqueca and muqueca, two Brazilian options that met our pescetarian preferences.

The panqueca was essentially a crepe with vegetables (pumpkin, carrots, onions, sweet potato) and a good amount of greasy cheddar on top, with a side of rice. It was actually pretty good, but not excellent. The muqueca was a coconut-curry catch of the day with shrimp, rice and salad. Definitely tasty, but the salad was uninspiring as an accompaniment.

The greatest disappointment came with the bill, which rang in at a whopping $60 (with tip), probably 2/3 what the meal was worth. In any case, the waitress (who was subbing) was friendly, and the outdoor seating was pleasant, but on the whole, don't get your hopes up.

I really enjoyed dinner here. Though I wasn't able to book a 2-person reservation with them on OpenTable, when we ended up stopping in around 8:30pm, we were seated immediately in one of the perfectly-comfortable side tables by the bar.

The ambiance of Range is really quite nice -- they've done a great job with the colors and lighting and creating a warm and inviting space.

Our salad was somewhat small, but very tasty, fresh and satisfying. We tried one of the cold soups and it was mild, but not un-interesting. The grape leaf-wrapped risotta main was interesting, though the green salsa sauce was a little out of place. We finished with the apple-pear tarte, which was a great finish to an otherwise very enjoyable meal.

Tip: don't bother with half-bottles of wine. You're better off getting 4 individuals glass of wine at around $8 each (total: $32) than their cheapest half bottle (around $45).

I found their actual flower shop to be lacking in variety, in quality and in interesting arrangements. Based on previous reviews, I was expecting something nothing less than a miracle, and what I got was something less than mediocre.

If you're looking for a couple flowers here and there, I'm sure you could find something here -- just don't go looking for any arrangements that are going to impress.

Very much enjoyed staying at Lucia -- great central location, very helpful and friendly staff and a pristine room! Being situated next to the Bo restaurant was also a plus for grabbing a quick cocktail in the evening.

It's not the Ace Hotel, but still ranks up there among the best hotels I've stayed in. And there's a Stumptown coffee shop and Mother's Bistro four or five *short* blocks away!

Pretty decent place to stop in, get a coffee (their iced vanilla latte was pretty nice) and do some work. Lots of monitors spread out, but with ample deskspace for mobile warriors.

Worth a visit if you need a place to work for a couple hours with generous surface area.

I certainly enjoyed eating with my fingers and the food was about as good as any Ethiopian I've had in DC. There's a bar-like atmosphere downstairs and an open pool table room out back, which makes for a pretty casual atmosphere. I hear they've got decent bands every so often as well.  Overall, I'd recommend it for an easy dinner out.

Me and my roommate frequent Triptych on the weekends for brunch. They make a mean frittata blanc, the omellets all rather enjoyable and the scallops are amazingly tasty.   In general, the food is quite good, if somewhat oily, but the overall ambience and experience of the place more than makes up for it. It feels posh and something of a treat, without being overly pricey. And considering that it's literally around the corner from me, I'll be back!
