Find Me InCambridge
Is this hotel supposed to make you feel really drunk all the time? If so, it succeeds with flying colors. On the other hand, if you're supposed to feel like this is a luxury event--i'm not sure it conveys that point accurately.
It conveys all of the amenities of a medium-high-end hotel, but seems to 'hide' them in an effort to be chic and young. All of the W's (obviously) have this theme in an attempt to get at the just becoming a businessperson market. Sometimes, I just want to come to the room and relax, not have the whole place feel like bar!
Like most other yelpers, I stayed here on a corporate event, so my rating is tempered by the fact that I don't know the price point on this puppy.

I practically wept from joy and happiness at the end of my meal. Paying so much for food in the village is usually a major drawback to enjoyment. At Red Bamboo, you get MORE THAN what you pay for--if you like vegetarian food.
I am not a vegetarian, so perhaps my palate is not as refined as some, but the texture and taste is excellent. Everyone here takes the food seriously, but not themselves. Overall, a light, airy, fun, experience!

This terminal really is meant to help people who travel into and around Bergen County New Jersey. Prior to this terminal, if you wanted to go somewhere north of New Brunswick, NJ, you had to travel through newark and switch to some sort of bus or light rail into Hoboken NJ. However, with the creation of the Secaucus Junction, now you only need 2 trains to connect to Northern NJ. In short, a train trip that used to take about 3.5 hours WITHIN NJ, now only takes about 90 or so minutes. Ta da! That's what you get for tens of millions of dollars.
NJ transit is prolematic because the system is intended to ship residents to one place: New York City. For one function: work. But, when the economy was booming, people went into New York for leisure--and they wanted to take the train! So train times were aplenty, and the terminal was clean.
While this terminal is still clean, the amount of train times to OTHER parts of the state is dismal. If I want to travel ANYWHERE past midnight on NJ transit, it is impossible. Furthermore, it is possible to get stuck at the train station and not have anybody find you because the website gives such intractable directions and there isn't any parking.

If you want an old, "rich mahogany," atmosphere this is the place for you! However, beware of the extremely arrogant bartender. I honestly heard him say to one of his coworkers, "It doesn't hurt . . . To be this good at my job." Eh hem. Well then.
Alas, their 'taster' menu is fantastic. An awesome place to hang out and feel like you are in a club room, smoking jackets not completely necessary.

Meh. The food was only okay here, pricing was way off. I really didn't like the fact that they made us wait up to 30 minutes outside in the freezing cold a few months ago. Finally, the waitress had no idea what wine to pair with which dish.
I shall never return. Too many other good places in the North End.

They, and every other storefront in this particular strip of Cambridge makes a good cuban sandwich. Otherwise, I was at this place for both a meal and a banquet--the food was presented a bit sloppily both times. I like that they have a full service bar, but I think that this place is being pulled in two different directions. Am I pricey? Am I chic? You are a pricey, but not chic, your'e just an okay restaurant.

Food was good, you get to make it yourself. The first time I went to this place, I really liked it because of the novelty. However, once I went to this place another time--for a creative night out--it really didn't get me going. Despite all of he 'choices,' they all seem to be limited to either an asian or a north american style of eating. I wound up being unimpressed the second time. Also, the service could be better, and the menu could be more accurately priced--it's structured somewhat oddly.
Giacomo's is probably the most famous Boston Italian restaurant that doesn't take reservations. People wait in line for upwards of an hour to get into this place. The menu is constantly rotating, but is always affordable.
I had the Frutti di Mare, it was superb. The calamari was a bit greasy, but nothing that is uncommon. Finally, despite the really fast turnover in this place--the service is pretty good.
I would expand and take reservations, for the love of all that is delicious.

I have been to several Fondue restaurants in my life. This is one of the best (outside of Switzerland). Truly, the service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the wines were extremely tasty and affordable.
All of the other reviews on this site are misinformed! Are you sure you went to the same place? Tried it on a Tuesday night for an anniversary and it was like the whole restaurant wanted to wish us well! The. Best. I felt as though I was at home--VERY rare for a french restaurant.

My perception of the sheets and the bedding is that they are not particularly clean. There may or may not have been bugs in the room--a severe problem.
All in all, I had great hopes for this place, but it fizzled out. Also, the folks at the front desk were not entirely helpful.
