Eh, I'm definitely not a Bouchon macaroons person. I bought two macaroons... it was a waste of $5. This was the first time I tried macaroons and probably my last. I don't know what the rave is about.
I had a ham and cheese croissant, too for brunch... nothing special about it. It did its job in making me not hungry.

THE PORK BUNS! ORDER THE PORK BUNS! Wow, best pork buns I've ever had.
The ramen was delicious and probably has the best consistency I've ever had as well. But, the pork buns are definitely a must have when coming here.
Remember to come here early or you'll have to wait for a really long time... we came at 6pm and waited 45 minutes to be seated.

Excellent, excellent service! Quick, clean, efficient!
The food was fantastic -- this was the only Korean restaurant I went to while in New York and it definitely rivals (if not beat) the ones in Silicon Valley. We ordered a bimbimbap, seafood pancake, boneless short ribs, and pork. While I've had better seafood pancake before, the rest of the dishes were fresh and delicious!
I think the service really caught me by surprise and appreciated their attention to us. I would definitely come again when I visited NYC nearby.

Very good, filling, and good price for a restaurant owned by a popular chef.
We had the Spaghettini (spaghetti w/ chives and lobster meat), Black Spaghetti (w/ rock shrimp, salami, green chiles), Brasato al Barolo, and a fish dish.
While the lobster meat was a bit tough, the rest of the dishes were delicious!
If you plan to come here without reservations, it's best to show up no later than 6pm (we got there at 5:30pm) or else you won't get a seat!

This small little joint located on Santa Clara St. is a great little find! They always have friendly service and their rolls are reasonably/inexpensive -- good value. It's not that you'll be getting anything different (for the most part) than you can get at the other sushi places, but good prices, good portions.
Some favorites: 49er roll, S.F. roll (no cream cheese), Tri-Color roll.
Verdict? 3.5 stars for me.

Their service is great -- nice owner. The basil fried rice (seafood) was really, really flavorful! I had their pad thai -- nothing out of the ordinary. 3 stars. I would come again. Rounding it to 3.5 stars for the free dessert they gave us. :)
The service was friendly. The seafood pancake here is fantastic -- much thicker than most local Korean restaurants I've been to. I had the Kalbi for one (didn't get to use the grill) and while it was a more bland than what I'm used to, I think it works well with my meal The portions are pretty filling and you get your money's worth.
I think this place offers a great balance of good food, price, service and clean environment. Another plus is that even though we didn't order anything for our grill, there were enough items on the menu to have a great meal. We'll definitely visit again.

I only tried/ordered one item from this place -- crabby cheesy bread. ANd I'll definitely come back for their crabby cheesy bread! Very good.

I liked the skirt steak as well. A deal for the price ($12) in my opinion. But, my friends weren't fans.
It gets busy here but service is fast.
