I love this station. The hosts aren't annoying. They are in tune w/ world, nation, and city wide events and news. The music is not watered down. I love it. I like how they have the NPR news every morning @ 8 am. Good stuff. I'd recommend that anyone looking for a break on the non-culture that Vegas has to offer, should listen to this sation. You will definitley enjoy it.
Idk. This station is okay. Not great, but okay. The radio hosts are a little annoying though. The only hosts I dig are DJ Frannie and J Noise. J Noise is really funny. But the others are annoying, if you ask me, I think DJ Frannie saved this station from pure wack-ery. lol If there was no Frannie then I wouldn't listen. And J Noise saved the morning show from pure wack-ery.
Bc Vegas has a huge Hawaiian population, there are a lot of Hawaiian restaurants out here. I've eaten a lot of Hawaiian food out here..but I didnt really like the food to much @ this particular restaurant. I didnt go to this location, I went to the one off of Maryland Pkway, near UNLV.
This is a very nice spot. Out of all the arenas that I've been to in Vegas, this is one of my faves. I'm not a big fan of exceptionally large venues (takes away from the intimacy of enjoying the music imo), so this spot was a pretty good size for me. The last concert I went to here was to see Jay Z @ the end of 2007, right b/f new yrs (2008). I had mucho fun!!! I wouldn't buy drinks here during any concerts though...highway robbery. lol. They have a good food area to, that we frequent after shows...I always go to Nathans and get some chicken fingers and fries. :)
I love going to this Fat Tuesday in Planet Hollywood!! When my friend and I have nothing to do, and just want to hang out and have a drink or two w/o spending a lot of money...we go here. They have cheap drinks that taste good, which is hard to find these days. We always get the Hurricane w/ Octane mix. If I feel like living on the edge I'll get an extra shot in mine...but that's not often. lol The shots sneak up on you though. lol

Sephora

This particular Sephora is brand new. I remember when it wasn't even built yet. It's great to come here when you need to get "hard-to-find" beauty products. They carry a lot of natural beauty products to - which I like. My only gripe is that I'm just not to thrilled about the prices of their perfumes...because I can go to Macy's, Dillards, JcPenny, or Nordstroms and get a whole set for the prices they charge for one bottle. lol. Robbery.

Eyebrows 'R' Us

I've never been here before...but my sister use to go here all the time before she moved to Sacramento. She ranted and raved about it so much that I've been tempted to try going here to get my eyebrows done to. She said to ask for Lisa when I go. That is who always did her eyebrows.
Edit (1/6/09):Tried it. And, now I go here often. It's actually my fave place. My 1st time getting my eyebrows threaded. I love it. :-)
