As I get older my patience for the barber/dvd/mechanic/rapper is at zero. I want to go to a place where the barber knows what customer service is and is focused on the client in the chair.
My experience here was great, I called ahead for an appointment and happy when I was in the chair within 5 minutes of my appointment style. Orlando did a great job with my hair and listened to everything that I wanted done.
The haircut was $23 with a beard trim which isn't bad since I've paid a lot more at Maxima & Time Out at Shannons. This place also have online appt booking which is a huge plus.
No complaints from me about this place at all. I'll definitely be going back for my next haircut. It all goes well I might have found my Chicago barber.
The coffee was just ok, nothing better than I can produce with my Sensco at home. The service was decent, for a coffee shop, but it could have been better.
My biggest gripe with this place is the lack of AC. It was beyond hot in the cafe and there may have been one fan that was not doing much. Given the heat, it was hard to focus and get work done when I felt like I was at the gym.
I'd possibly go back and give this place another shot, but given the quality of cafes in the area, this will be the place you go when to better cafes are overcrowded.

My continual complaint with this place is that it can get crowded, which makes the wait time increase. I'd bet that they could increase production if they had a cashier/sampler which would make the lines go a lot faster.
The barbers here are good and what they do. It is one of the few black barbershops on the peninsula that isn't in a rough neighborhood. The prices for a full cut including goatee is $27. They do it a little old school style with the hot towel and nice razor blade.
Overall, this is a nice place to get a good(but not amazing) haircut outside of the city.

Expect to spend about $25 bucks if you want to watch a game and have two or three beers.
They have NFL ticket and set aside one of the 100 TVs that they have for each game. They also have the same deal for college football as well. I was in the house when Stanford beat USC, craziness, you would have thought the game was outside.
Highly recommend the burgers. They are as big as some of the TVs! The only place that I have been that was a better sports bar experience was the ESPN Zone.
Went to Esquire early last week to get a much needed cut. The shop is decent size and on the average side of cleanliness. Probably not a good spot on a busy day since the chairs almost on top of each other.
Didn't catch the barbers name but I will give him a B +/- on the cut he gave me. Definitely, an A for the hairline which I must say was pretty razor.
However, the service was a little ridiculous. My man got on the phone during the entire hair cut and even had to take breaks in between his laughing. I know its petty but whats wrong with a little customer service! He didn't even give me a mirror after the cut so that I cold see the job that he did.
On the bright side the cut was only $20 including the tip, which is a lot more respectable. I would be sold on this place if it was a little cleaner and had better customer service.
Still looking for my goto place...

From the TV perspective this place gets high marks. They have a ton of TVs that allow you to watch almost any game without and obstruction. The server was also willing to change to the TV to a game we wanted.
Drinks- thumbs ups and down. On the bright side it was great to have $3 vodka drinks because of the liquidation sale. However, $14 pitchers of Bud Light seemed a bit pricey in my opinion.
Food- 0 STARS!!! You would think that this place would have great food based on the decor. However, just as the other yelp reviews mentioned the food here is pretty Craptastic! We had burgers, chicken fingers and potato skins which all lack flavor. The food here is more of a Dive Bar quality than regular resturant.
Baseline- Good place to watch a game, but I would not recommend eating here.
