Sometimes you just want some meat and sauce.
Look, it's not first-class dining. It's not well decorated. It's not high society. But it is meat and sauce.
I used to really enjoy going to Buffalo Wild Wings every so often - my wife would get wings (I'm not a big fan) and I'd get chicken tenders. I liked how many different kinds of sauces I could get with my tenders.
But when I started eating healthier, I had to give up BWW, since everything there is fried to oblivion. For me, Quaker Steak and Lube is the perfect replacement. The wife reports that the wings are about the same, and that the bleu cheese is much better at Quaker. I was able to order the boneless grilled tenders with steamed broccoli for a side - a much much healthier replacement that still satisfies my Tender craving without overloading me on fried garbage. It even came with some toasted pita. For what it was, it was excellent.
Like BWW, Quaker has a variety of sauces, ranked from mild to hot. I wish there was a tad more variety, however. One of my favorite sauces at BWW was the Caribbean Jerk sauce, and Quaker had nothing like it listed.
This place is exactly what you expect, but if a sports bar is what you're craving, Quaker State is at the better end of your possible options. I'm a fan, and I'll be going back.

The food's a tad on the pricey side, but it definitely has a touch of fine-dining flair to it. If you're in the mood for Latin American food but don't exactly know if you're feeling like Mexican or Cuban or Brazilian or Columbian, Limon is a great place to go.
Protip: they have an entree-size sampler which has 4 different small plate dishes in it, each from a different country. It's a great way to try different things out, but it's not officially on the menu, so you have to ask for it.
