IMHO, there's honestly nothing to eat at the americana, unless you don't mind eating your everyday cheesecake factory or some fake arse sushi at katsuya, you're pretty much left with mall food at the glendale galleria next door... alas, deluca, you saved me! has a clean set up, reminded me dean and deluca out in dc + bottega louie in downtown LA...
most likely, this will probably be my go to place when i'm in the area or shopping/chillin @ the americana...

looks quite fancy having a karaoke studio on the floor but in the afternoon, it's simply any old thai joint with such friendly service =)

WHY DO YOU BOTHER WRITING ON YOUR GIFT CARDS THAT YOU HAVE 2 LOCATIONS WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE 1. WE DROVE FOREVER, TO LATER FIND OUT THAT THE ONE AT FOOTHILL HAS CLOSED DOWN MONTHS AGO.
1. there was a strand of hair in my mac n cheese.
2. we wait an hour for our 1st appetizer to come out, then 1.5 hr to get our entrees.. we weren't the only ones fussy. the table nxt to us and the table in front of us were upset too...
3. server disappears after he drops off the dr pepper and shows up after 2 hours later. not once did he stop by whether we needed refills or not.
4. wait, am i at the french laundry here? this was simply a sit down one entree dinner that turned out to be a 2 hour meal. NO BUENO!
5. there are 2 GMs.. the dude seemed a lil bit fussy, not great customer service who later explains that he was sry about the slow service and says there are 3 chefs, 1 being a newcomer, when i find out that they tell the lady at the table in front of us there was only 1 chef. LIARS

i have to admit, i was happy... not your typical greek place ... a place you can bring adults and enjoy a fine meal or two ...
excellent salads, risottos and a lot more!
even tho i have to say their risotto was extremely yummy and flavorful, it was a bit chewy.. i guess risottos are supposedly supposed to be a bit crunchy not quite, but quite to say the very least. wth am i saying? overall, excellent! =)

1st review for december....
awww, i was hoping dr seuss would approve for the green eggs and ham huckleberry offers, but no bueno...
i did give an extra star for creativity in having it on the menu however ... they just drizzled pestoy sauce over eggs. sry, but i was hoping for some REAL GREEN YOLKY substance. -1 on that.

line is out of control, just be ready for it, so do yourself a favor and ask a friend to wait in line while you cruise around the area to find yoruself a parking spot!
