For cozy, warm charm, you just can't beat my house. So when I am hosting an intimate get-together in front of the television, I don't leave the menu up to chance. I call Oblio's to cater the event. With just a half an hour's notice, they are happy to bring any special order pizza to my door at no extra cost.
This is not a thin crust pizza, it's a chewy yummy bread topped with sauce (I recommend the red, but they offer white or BBQ) and cheese and goodies. I tend to get the Sixties Special ("The tunes: Day Dreamin' & My Girl; The Times: Mayor Daily & Mini Skirts; The Munchies: Italian Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza") or the Santa Cruizin' (Artichoke hearts, minced garlic, Roma tomatoes, and red onion).
For a truly special occasion (such as Monday night) add a Nicolo's Mediterranean Salad (chicken, black & green olives, tomatoes, mushrooms and crumbled blue cheese) and their pretty damn good cannolis.
If only they'd bring a pint to my door, too.... but I don't mind going to them occasionally.

Watsu is a massage performed in water (water shiatsu, get it?), and Trudy of Celestial Seahorse has been a practitioner since 1997. The pool at Celestial Seahorse is a salt water pool that is a perfect temperature, and it is surrounded by plants, candles, soft lighting, art, and music to begin your relaxation the moment you arrive. Then Trudy begins her magic, and you are completely transported. As you float and Trudy guides your movement, you can let go of all your tension in a way that a massage on dry land can simply not allow. You imagine yourself a sea creature or a heavenly body...thus the name Celestial Seahorse!
In my personal experience, I was pregnant and made an amazing connection to my baby, in a way I don't know how to describe but would wish for every mom-to-be.
(While in the interest of full disclosure I should mention that I know Trudy personally, please know that I have received a watsu massage from her and honestly believe in my 100% positive review of the experience!)
