The Hiro roll melted in my mouth. It was one of the best rolls I've ever had in my life.

Everything we order was served fresh and the staff was very helpful.

I'm giving them 5 stars mainly because if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have Jango.  I thank them for saving her life from SFACC.  Also, any organization whose mission is to save dogs' lives gets a thumbs up with me.  

Jango has been a part of our lives for over 3 years now, and she was only a part of the Rocket Dog Universe for a whole 6 days before we adopted her.  She never even made the website.  I still have her purple Rocket Dog star, but she'll never need it again.  She's home.

I had been wondering about this car wash for a long time. I love that it's close to my house, but try to  avoid weekends.  There always seems to be ALOT of people waiting. My wash took about 15 mins on a Tuesday.

Overall, the prices are reasonable, and they really do a good job. Plus, you get a $2 discount if you buy gas before the car wash!

I visit "the creek" every so often, and while I have not been to the SF store I can safely say Giggle rocks!

I came in looking for a gift for a friend's baby and my first impression - this store is huge!  While the average price for anything in the store is kinda high, they do a good job with decor and placement. The bathroom is big and clean too :)

I don't think the employees really want to be there, but they were pleasant enough.  Ask for the gift wrapping - they do a pretty good job.  

There's also calendar of activities (like pre natal yoga), that take place in the store.

Fried - Fried - Fried Goodness!

Summer is around the corner and I recommend getting anything on the menu and enjoying the outdoor seating area for a meal.

I've had the tuna melt, the fish and chips, and the calamari - all good!

I also like this place because I can bring Jango (my dog) and she usually sits underneath the picnic table shielding herself from the sun.  She also benefits by my clumsiness, as I "accidentally" drop a few french fries her way.

My Experience:

Wait for a seat (for 2): 15 mins - seated at the sushi bar

Decor: clean and modern

View: fantastic - if you're not seated at the sushi bar

Rolls: Gigantic and tasty

Nigiri: fresh!

Price:  excellent

Clientele: Mostly Asian

Worth the trip: yes!

Yes!  This is an upgrade and a welcome addition to the hood.  There's lots of Oakland stuff here - maps, cards, books, etc.  I bought my Walk Oakland map here.  

Overall, just a great gift shop with funky, cool items for all ages.  Nice and friendly customer service too. This place can def compete with the any hipster store in SF!

I ate here a couple of months ago, and I thought I would've gone back by now.  Alas, I haven't.

Let me start by supporting the positive reviews of the space itself. Gorgeous and modern, yet homey.

We walked in (on a Saturday evening) without a reservation and the bar was packed, but we decided to wait and give it a try.  But luckily, after only five minutes of waiting someone left the bar and we got a seat!

Good Stuff - the food:  I had the Wicked Fish Stew, and started with the butcher block with a nice glass of red wine.  All were delicious and well worth the price.

The Bad: I have to agree that the service was slightly disappointing.  the bar tender was friendly and helpful, but we saw our dessert (the chocolate cake w/ ice cream) sitting on the counter for a long time.  At first we thought it wasn't ours, but when it arrived the ice cream was really soft (almost melted) and the chocolate cake was not warm.

Such a sour ending to what could've been a truly great dining experience.  I too have decided they just need to work out the kinks.  

I'll be back in a few more months, but it's just not on the top of my list.

I've only been here once and had their Fish Tacos and Watermelon horchata - good stuff. Oh and the chips and salsa are off the hook!

The decor is definitely hipper than most Taquerias in the Mission, but don't let that fool you.  This place is definitely a contender.

The are a mixed bag of reviews here, and it sounds like Farmerbrown has been inconsistent.  Lucky for me, I caught them on a good night.

I walked in without a reservation and was told that a party of 2 would take 30-40 mins of a wait.  OK - well, I didn't want to see the opening band at the Warfield anyways.  

My friend hadn't arrived yet, so I turned to the bar which was PACKED (and this was during happy hour).  I wanted for 5 mins for a bartender, but they never got to me.  By then, the hostess tapped me on the shoulder and said that a table was ready - DAMN!  But my friend hadn't arrived yet, so I had to wait to be seated.  Still, the hostess was holding the table for me.  I was sure she was going to give it away.

My friend makes it to the restaurant shortly after, and we get out table right away - NICE!  I love the ambiance of the entire restaurant, very modern, yet homey.

The Jalapeno cornbread tasted great and we should've asked for more, but we split a crisp wedge salad and felt the need to be "good" before our Fried Chicken arrived.  I don't know if it was the best friend chicken I've ever tasted, but I still loved every hot bite.  The mac & cheese and collard greens were pretty good too.

Oh, try the spicy peanuts from the bar if you have a chance.  Overall, I had a very positive experience.  I'd like to go back to try out the other items.
