The scrub and mask were great! I'd never had the cooling gel before, it was really refreshing and kept my legs nice and cool long after I left.
Once again, not the cheapest place, but if you have the couple extra bucks, definitely worth it.

They get an extra star for taking credit card (even AMEX!) for services AND tip! A rarity!
The place was open and clean...so immediately I was at ease. All the tools were very sterile and labeled. The massage chairs worked well.
The standard pedicure was good. Decent time spent on both massage and polish.
They are a little pricier than other places I've been ($23 for pedi) but I guess you pay for the cleanliness and credit card services.
First course - Moules Frites - seriously, delish! The juicy mussels with the crispy fries...yum yum yum.
Second course - duck - the puree (it might have been celery root) was great, the sauce went well with the duck, and the carrots and mushrooms were a great earthy addition...however my meat was not as tender as it looked.
Third course - Profiteroles - nothing too memorable, but I ate it all, so that says something!
In addition I also ordered their popcorn of the day (isn't that a great idea?) - it was artichoke and duck confit. Honestly, it was too heavy. But the waitress said wonderful things about their other flavors so I'd be interested in trying more.
The atmosphere was super cute. The service was great. Extensive wine selection.
I flipped back and forth between a three and four stars...and went with four...because of the moules frites, and because most of the other items were tasty...plus the stuff on their regular menu sounds really good. I hope to return.

There is some times a wait so remember to take a number at the front so you can get your turn!
Yes, a good selection of nuts (and popcorn). They let you sample - I had a lot of the praline varieties (tasted like they were coated with cinnamon toast crunch...yum) as well as the sweet and spicy peanuts (apparently they are their most popular) they have a kick! I also sampled their white cheddar popcorn (I'm crazy about white cheddar popcorn) but wasn't impressed. Too buttery, not enough cheesy.
I ended up getting some cashews and sweet and spicy peanuts. I can't remember the exact price, but to me it was a little pricey...but they are specialty nuts after all. It just seems like a thing you do when strolling through a quaint little town.

The specialty cocktails flavors were right up my alley - I ended up getting the Muzita Madras...and it was delicious...just fyi, i didn't think it was that strong...which is good or bad depending on who you are.
On to the food...
The okra appetizer (teff encrusted bamya) was SO GOOD. I couldn't stop eating it.
Sharing is caring...and you have to share if you eat here. Everything you order comes on one large injera (it's a fluffy pancake like bread...delicious) and you kind of scoop (yes with your hands and a piece of injera) and eat as you please. I tried the prawns (prawn kilwa) and the beef (siga kilwa). The beef was a little tough, but the flavor was there. Prawns were top notch. Be aware their food is very flavorful and a little spicy.
The lentil (timtimo) and vegetable (alitcha atakilti) sides were good too. The greens side (hamli) was ok...just tasted like spinach.
Overall, great! I'd like to go again.

I had the soup, lamb, and tiramisu. I also ordered goat cheese stuffed figs drizzled with balsamic chocolate sauce.
The goat cheese fig was eh. And the soup...seemed like an average minestrone...with a crostini that was SO sweet, I didn't finish it...and I usually finish everything.
However, the balsamic chocolate sauce was the bomb (it was on both the figs and the lamb). The lamb was juicy and tender. I was surprised I loved the lavender in the herb crust (I'm not that big of a lavender fan). The tiramisu was to die for.
When the dinners come around, make your reservations early...they are popular!

I think Cathy Jean has many cute styles at pretty affordable prices. Most of the styles fit my feet comfortably.
The sales gals that helped me choose a cute suede (I think fake though, but no matter...its soft!) flat boot were super friendly, helpful, and encouraging. And my boots are so comfy! I can't wait to wear them.

I can't get them out of my head! Their ploy to get me in with free gelato for their anniversary worked (good gelato by the way) and I wondered what the big deal was about their bon bons.
My head is spinning from the deliciousness that is the pan con chocolate (panko, sea salt olive oil ganache - sounds weird right, but so crispy and yummy) and the firecracker (pop, pop, pop!)
I must...get...more...even for $2.25 per piece. EESH.

The flavors are fresh and explosive! I've had the blood orange, mojito, and chocolate raspberry (totally tasted like fresh raspberry). I can't even choose a favorite...I want to go back to try more!
The owner is so friendly and most of the products are from local farmers...support the community! They even have a frequent buyer card...she called it VIP - very important popsicle...hehe.
Yea, at $2.50 per pop it is a tad steep, but you won't find this quality anywhere else.
