solid, home-style italian in hayward! we very much enjoyed the pesto with grilled shrimp, ribeye steak (which was huge), and complimentary bread. grand total came out to $40ish with tax and tip, which isn't all that bad for what amounted to 1.5 meals!

* they are thorough with their pedicures
* pedicures are $15
* they have been good about keeping their appointments
* the technicians are very friendly
* they have a solid selection of opi and essie polishes
* they do brow waxing for $7

super yummy, earth friendly skincare line that falls somewhere between fellow eco-friendly line sumbody and the stuff at your local longs. my skin was having a hard time this week (due to the sudden coming of winter), so i decided to try out their lavender sea foam cleanser (http://www.100percentp...), which has been quite helpful. its gentle, and just moisturizing enough for my prone-to-oily skin. i will definitely try more of their products in the near future!

i don't know much about hookah, and our server was no help in that arena. in fact, she seemed pretty out of it, period. luckily, my friend was able to teach us the basics, so we could puff to our heart's delight.

that said, this place was clean and their food looked good. perhaps, i will give it another try sometime!

urban blend has a few pros including late hours (open until midnight), decent prices, and plenty of space, but it doesn't exude the same warmth as other coffee shops in the area. that said, if you just need a regular cup of joe and place to study, it'll get the job done!
