Team "TheHarmonExperience" H.'s Profile

Pam Harmon and Paul Harmon introduced us to Camp 4 and June 1st was most of our first time visiting the restaurant for our quarterly book club. From the outside,  Camp 4 isn't very recognizable. Unless you know it's there, you may just pass it off as the corner suite on 10th and Needham in Downtown Modesto that used to be Royal Robbins Outlet and then Wonderlust Coffee Company,  but on the inside, Damon Robbins has taken it to a completely striking new level of contemporary and rustic. Amongst the wood, metal, and slate aesthetics are amazing rock climbing photos from the 60's adorning the wall; one of Damon's father, Royal, and others of Royal's friends who have used their passion to open companies such as Patagonia and The North Face.

Once we were settled and done with our "ooo's and aww's" of the building, we ordered drinks from Camp 4's extensive list of wine options and then made sure to have an assortment of Panini's headed our way! The menu filled with European-influenced dishes inspired from Damon's past travels, all sounded delicious and were hard to choose from, so we tried a little bit of everything! The aroma of pesto-goodness filled the air, which made us look forward to what was to come! Damon brought us some homemade pesto chips to tie us over during our short wait and was nice enough to bring us out seconds after we finished our first bowl. We think we'll probably crave these from here on out!

From Pam's glass of crisp white wine to our Panini's, we'd have to say everything was mouthwatering! Thank you, Damon Robbins, for letting The Harmon Experience take over your restaurant. We always appreciate a great, local restaurant and Camp 4 has an even greater story behind it. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and foresee many, many more Camp 4 memories ahead of us!
