Again with the not full beers!!! What is the story with the unfilled beer! This is a chain, so really why bother to review it. They did have veggie burger. That's about all I can say.
When to Rasta Pasta for lunch today. It was quite good. The flavor combination are very unique. I really enjoyed the Mystic dish with tofu. My friend has the Montego Bay and like hers. Service was friendly and fast , the place is clean and comfortable. I tried the bananas flambe, which was really yummy and a bargain at 4 clams. Lots of rum flavor over Bryers Vanilla ice cream. I NEVER get dessert, but this was a treat. Entrees for lunch are reasonable priced with generous portions ($6.96 and up). I will be back of dinner soon! Oh and they have outdoor seating... Can't wait for spring time.
Are you a vegan who digs Italian food... they will make the veggie calzone with no cheese! And it is really good - loads of spinach, olive, artichokes etc. I used to get it with cheese too, also delish! I've been going to Il Vicino's for years. Always good food and good service. Reasonable prices especially for downtown.

Yoo Mae Japanese Cuisine and Sushi

Yoo Mea want your money back!
One step in the door and you are overcome with OLD deep fat fryer oil smell. Then the shabby worn interior with DUSTY nick knacks.
Decent California roll but tempura had the ANCIENT oil taste.
Beef teriyaki looked like dog food (tasted fair - too garlicy) and salmon (yucky bottled teriyaki glaze) looked gross both served on cast iron fajita platters (?) on a bed of cabbage. Slow service, empty waters, 5 minutes between appetizers. Just so very weak.
JJ may have sushi talent but in his baggy white t-shirt and dirty apron say "I just don't give a *%#$ "
I'd avoid this place for entrees, perhaps their sushi is more acceptable.

Lunch was wonderful. The owner is helpful and generous. The place is clean and cozy. The food was outstanding. Don't hesitate to try this place, it is a gem!
Very good food. Don't expect much from the service. I've eaten here 4-5 times and every time, there are problems with service. Server will either forget an item, or keeps coming by, literally bothering customers. Once I ordered a beer, and it was not full! Funny, and I actually asked them to fill it up. Server was nice about it, but DUH... fill the mug! Don't let the service stop you from going, just expect things to take forever, your nan to be forgotten, your bill to be wrong, and possible constant pestering by clueless waiter! One time my friend and I counted, various staff members came by 11 times!!! 11 TIMES - yet they forgot our appetizer, brought our meals 5 minutes apart, and forgot our nan!
I tried Wasabi Sushi for lunch. Menu is comprehensive, I tried a combo of 4 pieces of sushi and a California roll. It was good. Service and ambiance are nice, especially since it is a strip mall and looks kind of off from the outside. They have tappen and I'd like to try that for dinner some evening. They offer some good deals, but sushi is not for the budget conscious!
I've been there several times for both lunch and dinner. Every meal has been outstanding, wonderful service, delicious sushi, and a comfortable setting. Prices are great for lunch and reasonable for dinner. The sushi is superior to any I've had in town.
