Very good. Food is top notch.
Prices are getting higher with smaller portions.
But the food remains the same quality.
Long waits during the busy time. Don't come here if you are in a rush.
Two must haves are the Garlic Lover's Delight with Pork and the Crispy Garlic Prawns (King's Favorite...make sure you eat the fried basil, it's more than plate decoration).
Rice can be white only, brown only, or both. Don't forget to ask the server to bring you their hot sauces!People thought this was:

Went to try this restaurant after all the 5 star ratings. Have to say that it is good food. Size of portions aren't as generous as Tokyo (in Bellevue) was or Izumi (in Kirkland) is. They also seem to be limited on their ability to get orders out. I guess that's why they don't do take-out Fridays and Saturdays. It was over 35 minutes after ordering before we saw our dinner (and the rush was over). Salad, tsukemono, and miso soup were served during this waiting period.
Chicken teriyaki is really boiled shoyu chicken. I expect teriyaki to be grilled first then the teriyaki sauce is added. Makunouchi had a good variety but it wasn't a great value in price.
I was debating on a 4 but due to the long wait and the prices I think that a 3 is appropriate in terms of rating. I would eat here again if I was already in the area but I won't drive up here from Bellevue just to eat here.
Note that lunch is served only Mondays through Fridays. Dinner is served every night but Wednesdays.People thought this was:

I'm sad that this location has gone out of business due to the building coming down. The parking lot was closed before this business shut down.
I guess that it's a good thing!

Ate their Sunday Brunch. I was invited to a party, which used their private room. Located at the end of the buffet line. Nice easy access to get food.
However, several plates were dirty. The silverware had a lot of dried "chunks" on it. Not very appetizing.
I prefer Salty's. But like I said, I was there for a celebration. Food was just fine but it's not Salty's. They do serve their famous chowder, Dungeness crab and snow crab, chilled shrimp, carved roast beef (not prime rib), ham, pasta and crepes. Their desserts are just OK. View is nice since you're not looking at barges.

Nicely done food with great presentation.
Huge debate whether to go because they request jackets at dinner. So as a compromise, we had to break up our day of tourist activities to visit L'Espalier for lunch, which is less formal. I'm so glad that we went!
A must for anyone who lives in Boston or is visiting. Just remember their dress code.
-1 for the snob of a waiter

P.S. I won't be back until I see some established Yelpers giving this place good reviews (for the food, not the Happy Hour menu).

Dine Around Seattle 2009 (part deux) -…
November 15 1:00 AM
Date

45 minutes from ordering to get your food? Everyone around you has their food and they sat down and ordered after you? Does the server or the owner care? All the owner asked was "do you need a refill on your soda". I think she knew that we were waiting too long but didn't want to deal with it.
And the food is just not as good as when they were at the old location.
Automatic tip of 18% on a table of 5?
No free parking?
Just plain old bad! Go to Wild Ginger in the Bravern where you'll get good food and service with some class.
