We loved this place! We started with a glass of red wine & a pineapple mint spritzer with a Caesar salad (I chowed down the salad it was perfect) and the home baked bread was so soft and perfect with the pesto that rocked my tastebuds' world! We each had a different pasta dish which we both enjoyed thoroughly. Yum! It was a huge dish so the left overs were perfect for lunch the next day.

To top it all off we got the tiramisu which was pretty good too. Very light, maybe could use a bit more coffee flavor but it was creamy, delicious. The place was perfect for a little date night and we do plan on coming back. We went on a Tuesday and the placed was filled up by 6pm; sounded like they have some regulars. I could understand why.

3 Stars for great service, unique and fun place to try and the fact the the ice cream was delish... I personally prefer my ice cream creamy and mine turned out a bit hard (too much nitrogen -- the guy was supposed to ask which consistency I wanted but didnt and it was hard as a rock so I had to let it sit) but all in all good. Prices are too high for me though ($13 for a small and medium). I would never get their premade creations because it is outrageously priced for even a small! If we go again we will just share a medium I suppose.

I got premium base with toasted coconut & brownie batter flavoring and coconut & choc. chip mix ins -- yummy but I couldnt finish my small because it was super sweet/dense. The experience is fun, but I will stick to fro yo for my cravings and cold stone's when I want something special. Lots of options though.

I wanted to add that when we purchased the Living Social deal it said a stay for two but when we called to make the reservation we asked if it was a king size bed -- they told us it was for TWO FULL BEDS! Im sorry but we want to sleep in the same bed on our anniversary trip ;) It took a couple of calls to get them to allow us to upgrade (for additional money, nothing crazy) to a bigger room with a king size bed. Originally they told us that we could ask for an upgrade when we arrived! We knew it was not worth the risk which is why we had to call back for a manager and demand that they let us upgrade.

I didnt appreciate how this was handled and hopefully it wont happen to you, but beware and ask for the right size bed you need/want! Also I noticed that the staff is great but when the guests start arriving in swarms they were understaffed and that was when they got a little touchy. I couldnt judge them though, just trying to keep up! See my other review for why we could actually return :)

My husband and I stayed here on our trip using a Living Social deal. The lobby area is deceiving because it is the most modern part of the hotel (besides the pool). We were excited until we got to the 12th floor where our room was. We stepped off of the elevator and the smell was stuffy and unwelcoming -- we couldnt complain though because we knew we got a great price. The room was extremely out of date, as if we were staying at our old Aunt Betty's home for the week. BUT it was clean and the bed was comfy (though we did purchase some pillows at Walmart because the pillows were terrible).  The room had a large lanai that we were able to view the city and the ocean from. This was our favorite part and absolutely made our mornings and sunsets amazing.

The staff was friendly and always helpful. Part of the deal was a full breakfast each morning -- which saved us a good amount of money! They had a good variety of hot and cold foods to choose from, including some delicious pineapple juice. Besides the out-dated room and awkward smells in the hall, we actually would stay here again! We will never find such a great price for a hotel this close to Waikiki and a 10-15 minute walk to the beach!

We love BJs! My favorite is the BBQ Chicken Salad with the onion strings... yes, please! Then there is the dessert and the hubs always loves a good brew there! We recommend Bjs anywhere there is one. This particular one had good service too.

I woke up early one morning and thought I'd surprise the hubby with some time to sleep in and some coffee with breakfast. Used the iphone to look up the nearest cafe/coffee shop and found this place just across the street, yay! It is a small place with some sweet things on the menu. I definitely went with the coconut mocha and Belgian waffles with strawberries, chocolate and cream. They even were nice enough to package everything separately since I still had to walk it all back to the hotel.

Staff was sweet and I would have probably returned to try a couple of their other intriguing drinks if I hadnt only discovered them the 2nd to last day of our trip.

Dont use the bus to get anywhere far away. You are better off paying the extra money to take a taxi or simply rent a car for the day. It took us 2+ hours to get to Pearl Harbor and then we only had 1.5 hrs to check it out. Really lame and just plain bad planning on our part. Traffic can get bad in the city so just beware.

This was a great luau -- this time around I wanted to traditional luau on the beach experience. In comparison to the luau and show at the Polynesian Cultural center I have to say that I enjoyed the PCC better. The Paradise Cove luau show was more like a musical and that's not really my thing. The PCC is enchanting and it wows you. That being said, we had a great time! The drinks were great but dont just lean on the couple of tickets that you get with your package because those will only get you the small drinks. The food was delicious, but I would say again that the PCC had a larger selection of food. Sorry but friend chicken I can have any day. The coconut cake was killer though and probably my favorite thing besides the mai tais.

If you have the kiddos with you, this luau would be great. I really enjoyed the activities that they have. But if you are looking for a fantastic show that will knock your socks off, hit up the PCC or maybe one of the other luaus on the island.

We got here later in the day and enjoyed the snorkeling. It wasnt as clear and colorful as I expected but I had heard that this bay has gotten worn down due to all of the tourism. Next time we come, we will probably try to find another area. But all in all, the bay was lovely and since we got here later in the afternoon it was a bit more intimate for us and I liked that. Great for beginning snorkelers!

GORGEOUS! Must stop here. Be very careful when climbing down the rock, it is sharp and I didnt get to go into the water because I had to run and get the first aid kit. I dont recommend flip flops.
