It was a bit cluttered in the back of the store when I went but aside that what I wanted was in stock (ok ok, aside the extra lens for a camera package, so I went home and got it online - even paid a better price for an additional lens! lol Happy now?) and although one guy who was helping me dissappeared he actually did show up right as I was walking out the door, but it was fine.
The store itself has a good policy, good products 99% of my purchases have been solid and I own about 85% of the items I have purchased over the years; so they last! Decent prices, good return policy...I don't know what people expect.

I drive her there to find a few people from the union picketing this place and only one entrance it seems which is obviously where the action is. Nothing major, just something I noted (I personally am not into unions myself so I did not care about shopping here but others may and its just information I am providing). Parking was in the rear and it is fine but when someone is handicap and need assistance and its windy as hell it would be nice to have an alt. entrance, maybe I missed it but I saw only one.
I walk in and am I agree with Mariela; a bit rough around the edges but I can see this place becoming a fav. spot of mine.
Everything seemed VERY fresh. I got a few items (two fruit and yogurt parfaits which were a hit, a waldorf salad (which I did NOT like at all lol), and just genera snacks. I spent about $30 and I was happy with what I purchased and felt I got a fair deal. I signed up for their program too. My mother had some issues which I think they absolutely have to fix. She forgot (as a lot of seniors do) to swipe her card before she paid and got no points and she is the one who brought me there (for their turkey and ham, which btw the turkey was great!) and she got nothing. I felt so horrible and could do nothing. Minus 1 star.
Overall I give them 3.5 stars. I plan to visit the Clement street location next and see what that is like, I will post a review asap.

What else can I say? I have never had a bad cut/style with Elenie! That alone (after about a year) is enough to keep me coming back and with the new products she has (you HAVE to check them out!) and the extensions they are doing (really amazing work!) there is NO reason that you should not go for a cut or more...
Well worth every penny and I if you read my reviews, you will see why I keep coming back :) 5 stars all the way! -

Ok, so it took me longer to get back to her but boy I have to say it was the best thing I could have done for my hair!
I have to say right off that Elenie is a very caring person who wants to make sure you get exactly what you want and what is BEST for you. She takes the time to consult with you and really goes the extra mile with her service. She will never try and up sell you or push product but will inform you on what she thinks would benefit your hair.
If you read my 1st review and look at this one, you can tell that she does amazing work! Repeat clients are hard to come by, so trust me when I say this girl knows what she is doing! If you need a trim, want to go bold and try something new, or just know someone that is cutting their own hair because they don't want some crazy Supercuts haircut, tell them to get straight over to Elenie for Hair - they will never regret it! I for sure won't wait 6mo before I am back in her chair again....that was WAY too long! -

I had a cut with Elenie, she really is amazing. I had not had a pro cut in years (I have curly hair and don't want to walk out looking like a mop head so I avoided getting a full on "hair cut" and just did my own trims) and since I was going to a wedding I wanted to finally go for a full cut. Thanks to Yelp I found Elenie For Hair.
I walked in and was instantly at ease, not sure how to describe it but she makes you feel super comfortable and I knew I was in good hands and had made the right choice (thanks yelp!). Since I was the 1st in the door, I had her all to myself and I must say she is very sweet, easy to talk to and OMG she really does listen to her clients.
I didn't want to take too much off, maybe 2 inches. I wanted some volume and wanted my hair to be blown out and straight with some curls, she washed my hair and did a deep condition, which really did wonders even now almost a week later! We chatted about my hair as she shampooed and conditioned me, then it was back to the chair for my cut. This is where I got freaked out because I thought "ok, maybe she is going to cut way too much off" but guess what yelpers, she didn't! She did exactly what I asked for and made my "cut" just look like a better version of my own look. Amazing work!
The end result was perfect and I walked out wondering how I ever let so many years go by without getting this done. I promised her I would be back and trust me I WILL!

This particular store gets 5 stars as I'm quite fond of it. LUSH just rocks in general though so don't stop me from you prancing off to each and every one in the next 50miles. It'd honestly be worth it I'm sure!

Hands down this is the best LUSH around! The staff are super sweet, always give great advice (and samples!) and make my experience worth time, energy and money feel all well spent.
Ladies: If you have those nasty dark circles under your eyes, or maybe get them every once in a while (you know, like after a bit too much Par-tay the night before) then you MUST try this: "Enchanted Eye Cream"
This stuff works wonders! I saw a turnaround of about 75% in just 3 days! No kiddin, it works! I like to match it up with the "Vanishing Cream Facial Moisturizer" These are well worth the trip downtown and the money. Ask about samples of things you may be interested in, it is the best way! I did, and now I am hooked on these two products.

Also minus 2 stars for no bathroom. All these people and this store is redirecting traffic to Starbucks of all places! Maybe they'd like to know that, better yet H&M; get a damn bathroom installed for your clients, you know, the shoppers...wtf am I supposed to do if I have thousands of dollars to spend and am tired of trying on all but half of the clothes I'm planning to buy from you when out of the fitting room I say "excuse me where is your bathroom?" and you people try to get me to go across the street to Starbucks! Lol. This is food for thought.

I did like the atmosphere because it keeps the eyes busy and is super sf hippy. The guy who worked there is cool too. I will post an update if I go back ;)
