Nice to be able to go somewhere on a Thursday night and a little live Mariachi Band action and some solid, authentic Mexican. Only downsides: the chips & chili con queso: just okay.
As well, the restaurant has a very wide open layout to it, which seems to cram the bar up against the regular dining area. I would recommend hitting this place up before or after the happy hour rush, unless you're going to join in with the happy hour crowd.

All seriousness aside though, the food is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed and clean. It is a weekly stop for yours truly. Also, I'm told that they have great breakfast food. Looking forward to hitting that up.

It is also reasonably priced for such good food. Though if you are counting calories, its not going to do you any favors. But who cares -- the food is good. Go jogging the next day and you'll be fine.

This is also home to many of the special events, so if you're a true movie fan you can't avoid coming down here.

Special Events -- go to as many as you can.
Food -- I recommend the pizza, fried pickles and the world famous $5 milkshakes.
Tips and Tricks -- Always arrive early, don't frequent Mondo tees too much (you'll spend too much damn money) and pay attention to the public service announcements. Also, the place is packed on weekends, so keep that in mind when buying tickets (always buy online).

Well friends, I've now lived. And it was glorious. This location -- the first such establishment that I visited -- is incredibly charming, the service was great and the burrito, well, I think you know where I'm going with this.
Definitely a step up -- in both atmosphere and food quality -- from Chipotle. Another great, uniquely Austin establishment.
