Swing Hair Salon

Neighborhood: East Village

Swing is the best salon that I have found in years. I am always extremely satisfied with my cut and my last hair cut and style is one of the favorite ways I've worn my hair in years.

The staff is extremely friendly, the place is clean and inviting and I love the music they play.

This was my first Dim Sum experience but I was there with a table of experts. There are many vegetarian options and the food is fresh. It was totally delicious.

2 stars for the incredibly average "Asian Fusion" food ...
4 stars for a good atmosphere...

I had a casual business dinner here last night... it has a good atmosphere, it's quiet, the wait staff was fantastic. Overall I had a good time and would come here again for a quite business discussion. That said the food was pretty average.

A good vegetarian menu at least!

Sami did a fantastic job catering for our company during a week long corporate retreat. We are a tough group to cook for with die-hard meat lovers and strict vegetarians and Sami accommodated everyone at each meal. As one of the vegetarians I enjoyed the meals he made and was well fed all week!

Terminal 5

I have only been to Terminal 5 once. It was the 12/5/08 Vampire Weekend Show and the sound was great. I was generally impressed with this venue, which is much bigger than most places I see shows and allowed for us to spread out a little. There was plenty of room for dancing and it seemed like the entire show was dancing. There are bars all around and they were easily accessible. Looking forward to seeing another show there to see if my experience differs (based on many of the reviews I've read here).

Really like this neighborhood wine and liquor shop. A good selection of wine and a friendly staff. This is the best regular liquor store I've ever frequented.
