I like this place when I get super hungry and want something nice and greasy! I have only ordered from the buffet side..and i like how much u can pack on there to cook! I squish all my meats and noodles and veggies together and drench it with all the oils and sauces. Would i eat here every week? Probably not..thats too much cholesterol! But I must say, its cheap, a lot of food....and depending on how you make your dishes, it could be delicious! There isn't too many restaurants to choose from in Silverdale, so this place is fun if you want to switch up the regular sit down and serve me type of restaurants.

Service 4.5 stars
-I asked the waitress about the "Secret menu" and she wasnt sure, but she went out of her way to investigate and see what was on it. She was attentive and had a wonderful attitude.

Beer 4 stars
-Reminds me of Rock Bottom beer. I do like how some of their beer isn't so hoppy.

Food 3 stars
I wasn't very impressed with their food. I had the onion rings. Nice and crispy, but the ranch actually made the flavor pop out more. Without the ranch, it was just "ok." Chicken wings were actually pretty good but TINY! The little man ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza...DISGUSTING! No one at my table liked it! I ordered the El Diablo..i liked the many ingredients on the pizza...but then the saying LESS IS MORE comes into play. It was just too much going on and tasted like a regular supreme pizza from pizza hut.

Bang for your buck 3 stars
-Again, chicken wings TINY and they charged $11.99 for about 8 wings or so. NEVER AGAIN!  Onion rings - $8.99? ARE YOU SERIOUS?  $11.99 for the BBQ Chicken pizza. $13.99 for my El Diablo...and they are small to feed two people....or any one person who is hungry.

Now the average of the scores = 3.625 which is closer to 4 stars...but if I pick 4 stars...it says "Yay..I'm a fan" which would be lying if I said I was a fan =/ So I will stick to my 3 stars. I'll probably end up going back here for the beer only.

Snowbird Tire Chains

Thomas is awesome! Very sweet man! At first, I was a little skeptical about the drive to his place. I pulled up to his house and he came out to greet me and told me to pull around the corner to the back garage. Once you pull in, you'll see tons of snow chains, gloves, and road signs all over. He gets started right away and puts the vehicle on a block and checks the size of your tires. He then shows you how to put the chain/cables on one time, and asks for you to show him you can do it. He also makes sure you make the "HIYA!" sound while putting on the chains. (It really does help! LOL) I got there around 1:45pm and left a little bit before 2:30. I took a little long because he allowed me to practice many times until I felt comfortable doing it. And he won't let you leave until you show him you can do it! The man is clearly all about safety, and that is a huge plus! There are too many people that buy chains and do not know how to properly install them or buy too small/too large of chains and ruins their tires. In the end, he supplied me with a bag for my cables, a tarp, the block, gloves and an instruction sheet in case I forget how to install and take it apart.

HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!! There is no other way to buy chains than from the San Diego Highwayman

Just got back from the place. Definitely in a weird spot in the middle of a business park next to In N Out. Came here around 6pm and we were there for about an hour. My buddies and I were the only people in there. We were greeted by the friendly Mali. Super friendly and full of energy.

I ordered the chefs special. He made me a roll with albacore, tuna, shrimp tempura, crab meat, tobico and their mango salsa...it was so well balanced and melted in my mouth. VERY good. Also had the japanese red snapper and halibut nigiri. Nice big slices of fresh sashimi. They hooked us up with their house salad in the beginning of our meal and at the end hooked us up with a little yellow tail seaweed salad!! Dang! So nice! Thank you!! My buddies were pretty satisfied with their meals. They have other items not mentioned on their menu, so ask about their specials!

I found out Goody used to be head sushi Chef at Roys!!! If that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what will! Call me biased, but Roys is my all time favorite restaurant! And coming from such a well known establishment, I no doubt will be coming back! I'm trying the miso salmon next (comparable to the butterfish at Roys).

No complaints. I'm glad this is in the southbay.

*UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT*

Carne asada fries...they were pretty average. Still like Lolitas better.

POLLO ADOBADA BURRITO! LEGIT!!!

SHRIMP QUESADILLA WITH GARLIC SAUCE...ADDICTING!

I forgot what it was called..but their cinnamon chips....O.M.G.

Their Bumble Bee sauce...different, oniony (is that a word?), spicy, flavorful, packs a wah-pow to the back of your throat!

New Cotixcan...down right satisfying!

Carne asada fries...AWESOME!

Still a fan of lolitas..but these fries are so good! The meat had a different type of marinade, and their salsa fresca they put on it adds a punch to it! I give this place 5 stars too because they accept credit cards (with no extra charge) and the fries are cheaper than other places!

My sister went to Jalapenos after the brother in law ate my fries....She went to buy replacement fries for me, and it really doesn't even compare. I was sad not to eat my Yesenia fries. Next time im in the north county, I'll for sure hit this spot up!

p.s. Avocado sauce. :)

10 STARS! lol This place is sooooo good. I just got back from Mama's grill and I ordered the world famous T-Rex! the guy warned me it was big and he wasn't kidding! It fits into an entire styrofoam box and the box couldn't close all the way! It's a whole pound of deliciousness! Okay...now when you think big/oversized stuffed food..you think no flavor. This sandwich was on point!!! You can taste everything in this sandwich! The roast beef, the pastrami had so much flavor, the bacon, the ham, the big chunk of cheese, the lettuce, tomato and red onion and omg...the garclic mayo and pepperoncini spread. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! L-E-G-I-T!!! I'm sold! I can't wait to try the other regular sandwiches.

if you want some Man vs. Food type meals...you gotta get the T-rex. If not, come here anyway....this is probably hands down my new favorite sandwich shop! I'm hooked.

Norwegian Cruise Lines

wOW! I'm surprised of all the low ratings NCL has received. I went on my first cruise labor day weekend with my girlfriend and two kids. We took a 7 day cruise to Alaska with the Norwegian Star. We booked a mini-suite and well worth the money.

The check in was very fast. There was no one in line (Mini-suite and above get separate lines) and the lady and check in was quick and friendly. Waited about 45 minutes before we got to go on board, which wasn't that long considering we got there before noon.

The suite we had was great. I must admit, there were a few things I didnt like. The bed sheets didnt fully cover the dirty down comforter so I had to flip over the heavy blanket every day. The toilet isn't the best, but its functional. Hands down to Rolando our room attendant! He cleaned our room twice a day and made the cute little towel animals.

The food was delicious. Yes, some were a little bland, but there were plenty of options to chose from! They switched up the food for lunch and dinner, and everyday had a different theme so there was a variety of food to eat! The specialty restaurants were good. The sushi restaurant I can do without. Coming from a town of sushi snobs, their rolls were your regular California, spicy scallop, eel type variations which I could've done without. Their sashimi was a nice thick cut...oh and it was all you can eat sushi for $15. The sashimi alone was well worth it.

The staff was wonderful! I don't know what everyone was saying, but they treated my family like royalty. Everywhere I went, they knew us by name, they had the next course ready, water ready, everything ready. They even cut my meat for me!!! All super friendly people. I don't recall having one bad server. And I don't recall anyone trying to sell me anything. Wait...I had one server try to sell us a special restaurant day...and we bought it! But it was great! Had all you can eat prime rib, escargot, and a lot of other things you couldn't get on a normal night. All for $10! So no complaints on that. No one in the art area hassled us. Neither did the alcohol servers :)

The kids had a great time at the kids zone! The staff there were sooo friendly! I'm glad they were in good hands. The staff had cool names like fraggle rock, gaga and snoopy.

And to reply to someone elses comments about work shifts. These people on the ship are VERY hard working. They work 10-15 hour days for 7 days a week. Many of these people live in different countries and leave their families anytime from 6 months to a year. They can't even see their kids grow up because they work their butts off to treat US wonderful. They don't get paid nothing, so, it is upsetting hearing how people don't even appreciate what they do.  I DON'T SEE YOU WORKING MINIMUM WAGE, WORKING UNDER TOUGH CONDITIONS AND AWAY FROM YOUR KIDS!!! Get over it! If its one thing I learned from these servers, its sacrifice and being able to still smile no matter what. They are very humble people and its a shame that people don't see that. $12 a day for us is less than an hour of work. They deserve those $12 tips/day....I even tipped more because they deserve more than that.

Anyway...to end on a good note.... NCL is great. I'll be back again. And Alaska is beauuuuuuutiful It sounds boring..but it was majestic! Untouched...so serene. Something you have to put on your bucket list.

If you want more details, hit me up!

Update - 7/13/2010
Just went here today for lunch. Can you see CHEAP? The prices are ridiculous! I bought a Junkyard Dog (bacon, red bell peppers, mustard, cheese, jalapenos and im sure Im missing a few other items), fries and a drink for $6 and some change! It filled me up and I can eat. $6 is what you get at a fast food joint with not fresh ingredients....so this place is a catch! I love the decor. Has license plates, a room of rims and a classic car in the middle of the room! LOL Fast, Cheap, Fun, Great Food...cant get any better. We need one of these diners down south!

I have been wanting to come to this place for a long time! Its rare to find Cajun and creole food in San Diego...and its even harder to find EXCELLENT Cajun and creole food in San Diego.

Had the Oyster Po Boy with a cup o jambalaya. The oysters are unbelieveable. I haven't tasted oysters this good in San Diego. The jambalaya had the prefect taste....perfect spices! Im a HUGE jambalaya fan and this is the best I've tasted. Can't wait to go to New Oreleans and try the food there! UGH. I'm salivating.

The end.
