The server was very nice and he kept looking my direction to see if I needed anything! That doesn't happen often in other restaurants.
I'll be back to try their other stuff! I'm sure it'll be just as good!

Embassy Suites Hotel Seattle - Tacoma…
Category: Hotels
I decided to give it another shot, and it was a wonderful upgrade! The rooms had new furniture and I think new paint as well. I was impressed. I'm a fan of Embassy Suites, and with the great affordable prices, large suites and excellent amenities, you get your moneys worth! Its very close to Southcenter mall which offers a variety of food/restauarants. Also very close to the freeway yet far enough to stay away from the traffic. Oh, and if you have kids, this hotel is right next to Family Fun Center. Great location...not far from the airport and great deals!!!
The front desk is very friendly and the housekeeping is okay. Some of them have a hard time understanding English, so its hard explaining to them then things I needed for my room. Another downfall was, I emailed the hotel the items I would like in my room before arrival, and none of it was set up in my room. =/
Other than that, still a great hotel! I'll be back again

They took the microwaves out of the rooms, so now you have to call downstairs and wait for someone to drop a microwave off. =/ Also, my key card had a few complications. I had to go downstairs 3 times to change it for it to work. Would I come here again? Probably. They have great deals where you get more amenities than Oxford Inn and for a lower price. 3 stars for this update...I really don't see it going to 4 or 5 stars unless they do more renovating and make a few more changing which I don't see in their future.
P.S. You need more than one elevator or other entrances besides the one that you have.

Not impressed by this hotel what soever. When you enter the hotel, you think you are at a somewhat 4 start hotel because their lobby is nice...but when you walk around the hotel, you do not feel that way. You feel like you are at a 1 start hotel. The ladies in the front desk were not friendly. They didn't smile. They looked like they hated their job. Not a good sign.
The rooms were "EH" They didn't even have floor moldings throughout the rooms and building! Made the place look tacky. The room kind of smelled. Only thing I liked was the nice view of the back of the hotel and the water.
The gym didn't even feel like a gym. It was a mixture of a game room and a gym. WEIRD. I didn't even want to work out because it's like working out at an arcade. Just doesn't mix. The entrance to the pool was a long hallway through some stairs...it was just kind of creepy.
Overall, the hotel didn't feel welcoming. I would NOT come back here again. GO next door to Oxford Inn or Oxford Suites!
Oh..and on Wednesdays they offer FREE slices of pie with a purchase of an entree!!! Can't beat that!
Now heres the downfall. I have been dying to try the Cannelloni! I ordered it, excited to have that pork and veal in my mouth. When server came and placed it on my table, it looked wonderful. I took that first bite, and all I tasted was cheese..okay..not bad....the next bite, I didn't taste anything. I had my girlfriend taste it and she said there was no taste. I took a third bite hoping it was all in my head, but complete failure from that point on. I tried to eat atleast half of it, but I couldn't take it anymore. My Cannelloni was bland! Water has more flavor than my Cannelloni! I could taste the pork if I chewed with my mouth open to get the flavor circulating in my mouth...and the veal was just a mystery to me. :(
On the other hand, my girlfriend ordered the chicken and spinach lasagna. Man oh man, that was good! LUCKY!
I would give this place 5 stars for great italian food, but until I get my Cannolli right, you're stuck with 4 stars! oh, and one more thing...I think our server is psychic. Everything my girlfriend and I were thinking, he came to us and said everything we thought! weird.

As for the food. Bleh. I like their jambalaya...and of course their pazookis you can never go wrong! They just melt in your mouth. Their chicken wings...NOT A FAN! they fry their chicken wings and just drizzle the buffalo sauce partially on the wings. Loaded baked potatoes are okay. Talk about all those carbs! Their deep dish pizzas are good and very filling. Sandwiches are okay. Parking blows at the mall.
