Paesano ($8): Beef Brisket, Horseradish Mayo, Roasted Tomatoes, Pepperincino, Sharp Provolone & Fried Egg

If it's your first time at Paesano, I'd recommend getting the Paesano!! It's probably the BEST freakin' sandwich I've had in my life! Never had a fried egg oozing with yolk in my sandwich either! The combination of a soft runny egg and brisket and the kick of the pepperincino and horseradish mayo is to die for! I travel a lot and have had a lot of really good sandwiches (Ike's Place in SF, The Sentinel in SF, Earl of Sandwich in Vegas, etc.) and I have to say this one was simply amazing and DELICIOUS!!! :D

The store was a bit hidden and hard to find while walking on 9th Street. It is super small inside and there are only few stools at the front area. I would recommend eating your sandwich in here and having lots of napkins and wet wipes at hand. It can get kinda messy. Their store hours are a bit short, so come early to beat the foodie crowd! (Sunday - Thursday 11am - 3pm, Friday & Saturday 11am - 5pm)

THIS IS A MUST TRY FOODIE STOP IF YOU'RE EVER IN PHILLY!!!! :D

About 12 yelpers took over this small restaurant in North Beach pre New Year's Eve! :D We didn't do too much damage; only broke one champagne glass and someone bled a little... no biggie.

This intimate restaurant had a delicious menu of italian delights like their BURRATA from southern Italy!! I LOVE BURRATA and I cannot believe they get shipment every week from Italy! :D I had split a pork shoulder entree with another friend. The portion of it was much smaller than I had expected. So next time I think i'll get a whole entree for myself and a whole plate of burrata too. :P

Our server was super accommodating! We'll definitely be back for more burrata!! :D

If you love planes and food, this place is for you!! :)

This place is one of those hidden treasures! We literally missed the restaurant while trying to look for it along Hwy 1! A yelp friend and I came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon before a yelp event in Half Moon Bay. 3-Zero Cafe is a small place is also an airport terminal for Half Moon Bay Airport? :D

The interior is filled with model airports, tons of memorabilia, and other artifacts from the flight age! It's a real treat to come here to enjoy their food and admire all of their collections! And while dining in the cafe, you can look out the window and see small planes land or take off!!

I ordered the delicious crab cake benedicts!! and my yelp friend ordered the mango jalapeno sausage crepe! Both were super good and came with homestyle potatoes! The owner was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly! Service was quick!

If it weren't for Yelp, we definitely would've never came here for brunch, nor would we have ever found the tiny cafe! We'll definitely be back with a bigger group next time! And maybe have a UYE!? :)

Summary: Sailor meets pirate at Half Moon Bay with some cookies to exchange! :D

The brand new Mavericks Building is nicely situated along the waterfront in Half Moon Bay. Thank goodness for the heat lamps and cozy outdoor fire pit!

- Arnold Palmer with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
- Half Moon Bay Brewing Co beer
- Zu Vodka punch
- small bites from Mavericks Event Center (deep fried seafood meatball, cucumber ahi tuna, salmon crostini)

And there was a cool photobooth too!! :D

I'm so glad a cookie exchange was organized at this event! It was so much fun to exchange a few bags of cookies with other fellow yelp bakers!

Thanks Abby S. for a fantastic event to end the 2011 YEE year! :)

Happy Holidays Yelpers! And hellos to: Badri N., Jing, Dennise O., Cat C., Ryan, Kathy D., Anna D., James N., Mercy and Scott L., Lena D., Eugene L., Bobby L., Randy F., and all the pirates and sailors!

YEE #28 for 2011! :)

This is the only Lululemon factory outlet in the USA!!! :D Get excited!! I love my Lululemon clothes! I really wished I lived in Seattle. I'd come here every week!!

I got a scuba hoodie for under $100, cropped yoga pants for $59, and a sports bra for $34.

Overall the clothes are slightly cheaper, but not by much. Don't go out of your way to visit this outlet store if you're super picky like me. The drive from Seattle is quite long and it seemed like it was a billion miles away. Airfare + rental car + time traveled... you don't really save much. I personally would rather go to my local Lululemon store and just buy the items at full price (better selections!).

It's fun watching them make cheese while you eat your bowl of mac & cheese in here and sit on milk pails!

I honestly thought the mac & cheese was OK. But you should at least stop by here if it's your first time and watch the cheese making action!

What's a piroshky you may ask? I'm not quite sure myself, but this is a must try when you're in Seattle at Pike Place!

The shop is super tiny, but it smells amazing inside! I got the beef piroshky to go and enjoyed it outside in the Seattle air. Mmmmm warm flaky goodness! You could totally eat this for breakfast, lunch, and or dinner! :D

Every time I'm in Seattle, I come here for gelato!!! :D I'm a huge fan of their PEAR and PISTACHIO gelato!

They're super close to Pike Place and I just love this little cafe! Eating their gelato makes me feel like I'm in Italia! I love their metal dish bowl and metal shovel spoon! And their name "Gelatiamo" just sounds so cute!

Long Provincial Vietnamese Restaurant

On one of my recent trips to Seattle, my traveling companion and I had the intentions of coming here only for their late night happy hour. But from looking at their extensive menu, we felt quite hungry and wanted to try some of Vietnamese dishes! I have to tell you that everything we had here was quite delicious. I never knew Vietnamese food could taste so good! I was expecting a vietnamese pho chain. The inside of the restaurant was dimly lit and seemed quite intimate.

This is what we ordered:

cognac scallop pomelo salad ($15.50) pan-fried hennessy cognac marinated pacific scallops, freshly pickled jicama, carrot, red onion, browned onion, roasted peanuts, fresh herbs, and hand peeled pomelo served with tamarind fish sauce

pan-fried rice cake ($9.75) steamed rice cake cubes pan fried with grn onion and egg served with pickled grn papaya, carrot and vegetarian soy sauce

long provincial crepe ($12) scallops, prawns, pork slices, shiitake mushroom, bean sprouts, and mung beans in pan fried batter topped with coconut milk served with grn veggie platter and mixed herb fish sauce.
