They've got the basics (no fancy beers) and a drive thru. The employees say hello every time you walk in - refreshing.

Look for the big white and red LIQUORS sign behind Wendy's, right off the interstate.

One thing I haven't heard mention is that everything here is hand made, even their ketchup. Our bartender was very helpful and enthusiastic, even taking the time to answer our questions about the building's history (it was one of the nation's oldest fire houses until it was shut down in 2009). They have a cocktail menu on par with Proof, and the chips, veggie burger, and black bean soup we ordered were delicious.

For a "honky tonk" bar, i would have expected a small dance floor and a live band, but maybe that's the Nashvillian in me. I was also surprised how crowded the place was - it's loud and not good for a first date, but there is a lot of positive energy in the room. We went on a Saturday night, but I hear that they're always quite crowded, so don't stop by if you just want a quick bite to eat.

I'm looking forward to introducing my friends to this much-needed bourbon bar in Clifton.

Went here on a Friday, July 4th weekend, and took a seat at the bar with two wonderful people. Sometimes the company you're with makes a big difference on whether or not you enjoy your eating experience somewhere. This may have been the case at FARM, so read this with that in mind.

The Wizard of Oz was playing on a big flatscreen behind the bar - while we couldn't hear it (and should not have), it made for a nice backdrop during our hour of snacking and chatting. It was fairly late when we got there, so we decided on a lighter fare. I spotted a bottle of Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier behind the bar and it paired perfectly with the FARMfamous garlic fries. We also picked the Bankie's Melon and Feta Salad (watermelon, mint, olives, vinaigrette) and Jerk My Chicken Pie pizza (mango chutney, avocado, black beans...) from the summer menu. These may sound like odd combinations of ingredients, but they're delicious!

I didn't get enough of the full dining experience there to give it five stars, but I should also mention that Chef Orr came by to say hi. Oh, and they strive to use sustainable foods and goods. This was my first visit to Bloomington - I hope to return to FARM next time I'm in town.

A great local brew pub and restaurant across from the Convention Center. On Sunday, I went with a friend for my first visit to Columbus (primarily to see Robyn at the LC Pavilion). We enjoy trying locally-brewed beers, so we picked this spot due to its location and positive reviews. We were not disappointed... for the most part.

We arrived at 5pm on a Sunday, so there were only a handful of customers there. Abigail, our server, was very attentive and also helped us both pick appropriate beers to our taste. Michael ordered the Centennial IPAs and I got the Weizenbach which had a subtle caramel flavor and smooth consistency - sorry, I need to work on my beer-rating descriptions.

The Barley's Brew Dip & Pitas was highlighted on the menu, but we were disappointed in the bland American-cheese-tasting flavor. Maybe we'll get soft pretzels or sauerkraut balls if we ever eat there in the future.

Michael ordered the pesto chicken sandwich, but they were out of kettle chips (he did not enjoy the rice with tomato replacement). I ordered the vegetarian pierogi and almost ate the whole thing (quite a large dish). Unfortunately, neither of us had enough room to try a second beer - I was looking forward to trying their popular MacLenny's Scottish Ale... Next time!

We had an after-work crowd of 6 and grabbed one of the big tables in the main dining room, getting there early at 5pm. I was immediately struck by the wall of windows at the end of the room; as others have said, great venue for almost any crowd.

The food was delicious. I had been craving the Guinness Beef Stew since checking the menu out online earlier in the day - it did not disappoint! There was plenty of Smoked Salmon Pate to go around, even enough to use the second plate of bread that we needed. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

The service was very fast (likely because there were only 2 or 3 other occupied tables when we first got there - although it was almost packed by 6:30). Our waitress was very friendly, too. She informed us of a Guinness swag giveaway on St. Patrick's - sounds like a plan!

I have to agree with Tom that this isn't a bar you want to brag about - more room for me at the bar if others aren't there! Not having any large group tables is the only con about this place. Converted from an old brick church, the "Holy" atmosphere is perfect. Friendly staff, tasty appetizers, and a discriminating beer selection. My full review here: http://claireeatsthewo...

We entered at our usual senior citizens hour (around 5:45) and it was quiet, but a very pleasant atmosphere with about five other occupied tables. They did a great job repurposing an old brick building across from  the big Buchertown Market.

Our waiter mentioned that they may not have all of the wines on their list but that they could recommend alternatives that would work well with whatever dish we decided to order. He also explained the four categories: sustainable, organic, estate-grown, and "biodynamic" wines (which I'd never heard of before).

We ordered the Salmon Croquettes appetizer $8.50 with lemon aioli and found both patties to be a little too salty, although generally not bad. We split the Fresh Pork Sausages $14 on a bed of cabbage w/ dijon mustard and enjoyed the unique, restaurant-stuffed chunky texture (which I'd never experienced before). We finished with Chocolate Creme Brulee which, while good, was not evenly cooled (or hadn't set out long enough to completely warm to room temperature).

I was happy to have Hoptimus on tap throughout the meal $4.50 for a small glass. My girlfriend enjoyed the alternative wine to the Alsace on the menu that was unavailable.

The service was well-timed and the overall experience was good, but the food itself was nothing to write home about (ironically, they place the check on a postcard that you can take with you). It is good to see another environmentally-conscious restaurant open in town. While not as organically strict as North End or Mayan Cafe, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this locally-owned establishment to anyone wanting to try a unique pork dish (or sandwich) at a reasonable price.

If you're not too picky on your menu item, definitely check this place out. I've been twice, and both times they were out of some ingredients. But both times, the burgers were excellent. I think they get their name from the size of their roles. You can scoop out half of the bread and still enjoy your meal.

Very friendly staff. A little warm inside, but probably typical for a July afternoon.

Thursday afternoon around 6 and there were only a couple of other customers in the restaurant, and one or two at the bar in the back. It was a little warm for my friend, but I was comfortable.

Good beer selection (first time I've seen Xingu in this town, although I don't always look for it). Ordered tomato, green pepper, pepperoni on wheat crust 12" which was plenty for two. Delicious.

Good waitress. Will definitely go back.

Great place to relax, eat, drink flights of beer (5 fo $5.95), watch a game on one of their screens, and listen to some good alternative rock. Didn't get to walk past the front rooms as last night was my first time there and we were seated along one of the bench/chair tables. All the staff was very friendly and hostess even sat with us for a minute to discuss their wine and beer options. Will definitely go back, especially if I'm needing a late-night meal.
