The food is ok, but not as good as their competitor, Osaka. The experience I had was pretty awful. We were celebrating, so the saki bombs were going down. Our waiter decided to do one with us, but didn't tell us he was putting it on our tab. Not only did he expect us to pay for his drink, but his saki glass somehow ended up in my brand new coach purse which was on the floor between my feet. When the bill came I noticed our waiter's indiscretion and then I found his saki glass in my purse. I went to the manager, an extremely rude woman who told me that "the saki bomb is a very messy drink", and argued with me at length before agreeing to take our waiters drink off of our bill. Given the marginal food and the nasty staff, nothing about this place would get me back in the door.
Really great place to shop for auto parts! The people are very friendly and know what they're talking about. They will run a diagnostic or test your battery, if you buy windshield wipers, they will change them for you for free. They will also tell you cheaper options for getting your car fixed and they have never talked down to me. I used to go to another car store and get 2nd rate treatment, but I'm not addicted to this place!
Amazing! Lori has turned a little basement into an amazing shop. The home decor is unique and reasonably priced and out of season things find their way into the clearance room in the back, and the arrangements are beautiful and unique. I went there for my son's prom corsage as well as my wedding arrangements and I was completely blown away. The arrangements are gorgeous and very unique! You won't find a better place for flowers, whether it's a simple table arrangement or an extravagant party. Check it out!

This is an interesting place, if you can find them open. The shop keeps strange hours, and is sometimes not open during the hours posted. The humidore is nice and large, lots of variety and the manager is a creepy, creepy man. I'm sure there are other places to go to find a good cigar.
What can you say about a place like this? You definitely have to be in the right mood to appreciate the Starlite room. Burgers come wrapped in paper, sides come in the cliche little plastic basket and there's a creepy old lady statue-like thing in the back of the room. There are big-screen tv's everywhere and plenty of beer. Since the smoking ban went into effect, it's much cleaner and easier to eat there, but you have to walk by the "beer garden", which is right next to the front door and although it's outside, it's a very smelly place. If you're looking for a big greasy burger or huge tenderloin, this is your place. The food is good and you can wash it down with a lot of beer.

This was a wonderful little church turned antique shop until the bank next door tore it down to make their parking lot bigger. I miss it.
One word... YUMMY! This is most likely the best chinese restaurant I have ever been in. Everything is authentic, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Absolute DREK! The staff is friendly, but it doesn't make up for the fact that they are serving really nasty food. I haven't found anything there except maybe the ice cream that I would ever eat again. I went with friends, one of whom picked out her custom dish only to have it cooked and placed on the same plate the raw food was on, including a nice big bloody piece of beef. I wouldn't step foot in that place again if someone paid me.

This is probably the most overrated restaurant in the area. The food is less than impressive when you consider the prices, but not bad. The service is usually very good too. The brunch is marginal... great idea but poor execution. I'm not cheap, but over $20 for eggs benedict on a stale, hard english muffin is not my idea of wonderful. I have to wonder why this place is always so crowded, but I think it's because of the micro-brews.

Uncle Tony's New Orleans Cafe

I used to work downtown and walked by Tony's all the time. Are they really still open? They're usually closed when they're supposed to be open, which caused me to obsess over the place, yearning for some good gumbo or a nice healthy portion of red beans and rice. When they were finally open during lunch, I got the most disappointing meal I have ever had... white rice, a few beans, undercooked celery and no sauce. That's red beans and rice? I don't think so! I'll never set foot in the place again.
