Valentines Day was made excellent via dinner here. The food was great and drinks seemed balanced. Some of the reviews I read were pretty harsh, but I found nothing to complain about. Attentive service and great attitude. Not sure what others were complaining about.
For less than $10 bucks you get a drink and a couple (huge) slices of pizza ranging from the basic variety to my personal favorite bbq chicken. This is good stuff.

For a number of irrelevant reasons I hadn't come here yet despite being suggested. So finally I met up with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Bridge Cafe is a small, upbeat, interesting place with good sandwiches and what I think is good coffee (I just had a drip coffee, so I can't vouch for their espresso drinks). Prices were a little up but not outrageous. And it was worth it. The sandwich I got, "The Real Deal", was big and filling... and came with a side. So rock on. Extra bonus which I may hate but I'm still interested in going to see it: they have live poetry nights from time to time.
Decent little joint. I got my extra dry vanilla cappuccino and it came out surprisingly well. Maybe next time I don't need to say extra dry. I hate it when you go to cafes and their cappuccino is little more than a foamy latte. Yeah, I hate that. Anyway, the food looked good there though I didn't get any myself. Seating is ample and very modern (i.e. not always the most comfortable) but pleasant. If you need an espresso make sure to check it out.

I wasn't there that long, and didn't go in the back room where some decent music was coming from. With that said, it was clean, well-lit, and nice. I was in the mood to go out with friends (which I did) and have a few over good conversation (which I also did). This is a great place to do that. At least on the night that I did... Thursday night was it? I don't remember. Either way, good times. I'm definitely going back.
This place is surprisingly good. Part of that was I didn't expect much and found four floors of quality art, well placed and documented. The cafe is a bit on the ridiculous side, but what museum cafe isn't? The contemporary and modern stuff is amazing. However, there is an old house (can't remember the name right now) attached open for touring, but it really isn't that interesting as they removed all the old furniture. If you want to see an old house in Portland, go see the Victorian Mansion or the Longfellow house.

Quality food. Basic. Average but definitely not bad service. Simple. It seems either to actually be or try hard to appear as a simple country pub. The prices aren't bad and the food is good enough to make it an option when you're shopping in Freeport. Right on the main drag too.
Very good restaurant. Supposedly the view is quite nice, but I couldn't tell because I was there at night and I don't know the area. But dinner was awesome, the calamari was good as was my seafood saute. The service seemed very quick and efficient, even if at the cost of a few minor aspects. A quality place to go.

This is my favorite place to get breakfast in Hanover. The atmosphere and memories of grabbing a 6x espresso before a lecture, then bouncing around trying to contain my caffeine high for an hour are more what get me back to this place. The coffee is good, the pastries are good. The window seats are a fun way to people watch. And definitely it's very convenient. Caddy corner to the big Green.

Good and local, and not anything to get over excited about. Definitely check it out and if you make it for happy hour then all the better. And they have been known to have some good DJs in for special events. Just don't expect a whole lot from this place. If it's your thing, rock on, you'll love it. But to me, it's just another bar.
