As for my experience here at Tribeca Dental, I had a very good one I must say.  I was in good hands with the best dental hygienist ever, Rosette.  She's very gentle with her hands unlike other dental hygienists I've dealt with before.  It's actually about that time again to make an appointment with her. Next time you come here and need a cleaning ask for her, you won't be disappointed.  You can thank me later and You're Welcome ;)

This is my new favorite spot for Korean BBQ, quick and good service and of course it's my favorite because it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg for some good old Korean BBQ. It does indeed get crowded sometimes but umm how do you not expect that from a small restaurant? Besides, the 15 minute wait is not bad at all.  Of course Bulgogi is my main course and some other stuff that my mom orders, I never really remember the name (I will write it down on my next visit I promise) and also my favorites are the appetizers, they're all so good (minus the tofu..eeek) Overall everything here is good, for all you claustrophobics, come here during the week when it's not crowded at all.....You're Welcome! ;)

My very first Yelp Event and I came here with a mission:

- drink lots of liquor
- eat lots of appetizers
- mingle with other awesome yelpers
- go to the rooftop and take loads of pictures
- meet Jando (FINALLY)
- meet Peter D. and tell him how much I love all his funny reviews.

Glad to say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED OH YEAAAAA! Had an awesome time and I even got to walk away with a Yelp watch, how cool am I? ;P

Ok, now where can I find those pictures from that night =D

I wish I could remember the name of the super nice guy that was so helpful and had so much patience being that I was asking him 20 questions like I was 50 cent or Barbara Walters. I was here two weeks ago to buy my boyfriend's iMac and at the end of the transaction, I got $100 dollars off and I got a printer which after the rebate it will be free YAY, go me! My boyfriend indeed is a lucky guy to have a girlfriend like me lol.

This Apple store is huge and it sure does attract a lot of tourists so don't be surprised if it's crowded when you come here, I mean come on, it's in GRAND CENTRAL people, duh. It's truly convenient for those last minute gifts especially if you work literally in the building, like me.

I think this is one of my favorite BWW location, the place is two floors, it's rarely ever crowded, the servers are sometimes attentive, the food is always good and well the TVs are always tuned in to some important game which keeps the bf and  entertained whilst we inhale our food. At the end of our meals, we're always happy campers ;)

Havana Cafe not to be confused with Cafe Habana out in the city, but it's ok if you confused the two like I did. (it's close dammit) Anyways, I was introduced to this place a couple of months ago and it's become one of my favorite brunch spots for three reasons. And those three reasons being:

1. Their El Gran Combo is THE TRUTH (the pictures speak for themselves) It's a huge piece of churassco steak, with eggs (served how you like it) and two huge pancakes. (although, when I order this I replace the pancakes with rice...because you know I'm filipino and I like my steak with rice ALWAYS; don't judge me)
2. Eight dollars**** of unlimited sangria, the best part you can try all of the different flavors that they have for that day. YES, you heard right, EIGHT DOLLARS, $8 bucks UNLIMITED SANGRIA.
3. The owner and the servers are the nicest people I have ever met and very attentive; the bf and I come here often so we always get the same waitress and waiters, they're amazing.

I've also tried the Latin French Toast with banana syrup & hand whipped cream, that's another delicious brunch dish. I always say that I need to try something new but their El Gran Combo just calls for me once I'm seated, I can't help it, it's so good.

****Although brunch is for Saturday & Sunday, their Eight Dollar Unlimited Sangria special is only for Sundays, you've been warned so don't come here on a Saturday expecting to get Sangria wasted. SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY.

Ok, ready, set.....go this Sunday ;)

My boyfriend took me here the day after my birthday because you know he's just an awesome boyfriend like that.  He originally wanted to take me to a sushi spot but I totally shot that down simply because I just was not in the mood for sushi. So he then suggested Sofrito and I figured hey why not, I mean I loved (yes loved, which means this new location took over the love that I had for the Manhattan location) the one that's in the city.

I'm a fan of this location for six reasons:
- the waiters (our waiter specifically Juan Pablo*, probably wasn't his name but that's the name I always give when I play the guessing game so we'll stick to that name)  So yes Juan Pablo was very attentive and super nice.
- the food is just as good as the one in the Manhattan location, ordered my usual mussels as appetizers and churrasco steak as my entree, again oh so good.
- the Sangria is delicious, we finished a whole pitcher (it was a Wednesday btw)
- this location is HUGE (that's what she said, you know I had to), way bigger than the Manhattan location where you're literally breathing on top of each other
- they don't play the "happy birthday" song every two minutes like the one in the Manhattan location (that can get pretty annoying) oh and the music is not as loud to the point where you would think you're in a club like (yup you guessed it) the one in the Manhattan location.
- lastly, it's minutes away from my boyfriend's apartment, we found parking immediately and we were seated right away.

As you can see, this location totally stole my heart, it's just a whole lot better, it can also mean that since I am getting old, I prefer the laid back, less noise type of ambiance, oh my how I have grown....maybe.

NOTE: Also, try their coquito, I never really liked it except if it was his mom making it but theirs is surprisingly just as good. TRY IT!!!

I'm a fan of this BE location because it doesn't get too crowded like the one in East Village. The staff are always so nice and helpful. My recent visit was last Monday (Nov. 28th) and it was truly a pleasant visit because I finally found a leather book bag that's I've been searching for since August. For $21 bucks? SCOREEE! I usually leave this place with a bunch of goodies but I got super excited and didn't even browse through the store after finding what I wanted.

MEH. It's not the best theater but it's better than the Center Cinemas in Sunnyside lol. I've watched maybe two or three movies here with the bf and his family, they're from the Bronx so this is their go-to theater when we decide to go to the movies last minute.
