Both times that I've visited Oak Glen I have stopped by here -- and both times, Mom's Country Orchards was the highlight of my trip! I love these guys.

The orchard shop is run by several family members, and they are all great people - very kind, outgoing, and enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their foods. We sampled various fruits first, and then went on to sample pretty much EVERYTHING that they made, one jar at a time.

The orchard is all organic and local, and they take real pride in their foods. I would love to list everything I LOVE here, but that's a huge undertaking. Instead, my favorites:

- Habañero Mustard
- Pumpkin Butter
- Blackberry Preserves
- Chai Jelly
- Spicy Peanut Butter

If you're visiting Oak Glen, this place is a MUST-VISIT :)

When I first moved to CA, this was the late-night stop-in for me and my friends while I was moving in, unpacking, and then later decorating. Somehow the tradition stuck, and after a year now, this is still our favorite late-night hangout.

The menu is delicious. I love the BLT, the Clubhouse, the Tuna Melt, the Veggie Burger with American cheese and extra sauce, the pancakes, the hashbrowns, the belgian waffle, the french toast... the spicy gumbo. All the desserts are amazing, with the apple pie being my new favorite.

The atmosphere is sometimes loud, the music is sometimes hokey, and the service is sometimes shitty - but the food and the company are what make this place home base for me.

P.S. If you can get Susan as a waitress, you'll be sure to have a great experience!

I usually go to the Norm's in Anaheim, and I find this location to be a step-up from that location. Costa Mesa is a great Norm's!

Nice Atmosphere - clean floors, bright colors, pleasant music. Only drawback is how cavernous the place sounds when it's slow.

Decent Food - It isn't the best Indian I've ever had, but it was really delicious all the same. I couple of the things we ordered were dishes I'd never heard of before - my friend says this is because the food hails from South India which is different from the Indian we're used to seeing everywhere. I thought it was all very interesting and delicious.

Misc - Street parking was easy to find. They give you lollipops after your meal! The prices are a little high for the quality, IMHO. The mango lasses are amazing :D

We stopped here on a whim because both The Place and The Plan B Place we were hoping to go to for dinner that night were closed.

The food was OK... not excellent, but for fast Thai food, it was pretty good. The noodles and egg rolls were fresh, and the chicken sate was actually pretty delicious.

Not a bad place for a quick bite. Bonus points for the outdoor seating patio.

Coming from Seattle, I have had a very hard time trying to find quality Thai food here in Orange County. Of all the places I have chanced, this one is the only thus far to prove worthy of patronage.

The food is really quite good. I've had the Pad Thai, Chicken Larb, Panang Curry, Chicken Sate and the Thai Iced Tea and have had no complaints whatsoever :)

All-in-all, they have good cooks, a great balance of spices and flavors, and decent service. Don't let the strip-mall exterior or cramped parking deter you - the food is worth it.

I would love if they had a classier atmosphere or better music, but you can't get everything -- right?

I wish I could give this place NO STARS - but I guess we'll have to give it at least one in order to review the place.

I almost never eat fast food, and this was a hard reminder of just WHY. In summary, this place had bad food, horrific customer service, idiot employees, and ridiculous wait times. For shitty food, I suppose I should have expected equally shitty service :(

The multitude of problems we had with this place are not limited to the list below. It was a horrible experience from the get go:

1. We waited forever to order, even with a short line, because there was NO ONE at the counter to take our order. The people in the back kept looking out at us, but no one did anything about it.

2. When taking my order, the idiot at the cash register got my order wrong two times before finally getting it right... and this was someone whose first language WAS ENGLISH.

3. The cashier then short-changed me and didn't give me the rest when I asked for it.

4. We had to wait another 10 minutes to get our food - while watching no one work in the back.

5. Everyone's order was filled wrong save for mine; some were missing a side, others were filled incorrectly, and three times my boyfriend had to ask for NO ICE in his drink before the employee got it correctly.

6. I had to pay 25 cents to use the bathroom, which was filthy.

7. We all felt ill after eating there. The food was overdone and cold, and nothing like advertised.

Ughhhhh. What a HORRIBLE experience!

The new Ruby's in Anaheim has drive-up dining... well THIS I had to try - at least once in my life.

The waiters/waitresses wear rollerskates, and your food tray sits on the window of your car. How classic :D

For the novelty of drive-up dining, this place has it all. Otherwise, it's another burger joint that has good milkshakes.

I wrote my last review when the place was very new and no one knew about it - and that review stands. However, I have since heard some bad stories about this place, so I'm taking my rating down a notch for this updated review.

Although sophisticated-looking and filled with interesting-sounding drinks, this place proves to be simply another wannabe-trendy hotel bar. It's a fun place to have a drink and a cigarette, but I'm not sure it's anything special anymore :P

This restaurant was amazing! I went here on a recommendation of a friend, who insisted on coming along with me to do the ordering.

I got the caesar salad with the additional ($5 worth!) of grilled chicken and let me tell you, that salad was worth al $12 it cost. The chicken and the dressing were of superior quality, and I literally ate the whole thing, down to the little last bits :P

We went in a group of 4 adults and split a large pizza between us. The pizza was HUGE and extremely delicious.

TIP: Get the fresh garlic topping on the pizza; it combines excellently with their homemade sauce and the fresh mozzarella so that the pizza tastes like an Italian party in your mouth.

TIP: Also, get the garlic bread! It's homemade from french bread and garlic butter and it is absolutely divine.

The atmosphere was wonderful - a large open space with good music and laughter and conversation all around. Most of the tables were filled with people, giving the place the feeling of a large happy gathering.

We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table on a Tuesday night, so I'm betting it's even busier on the weekends. My suggestion is to MAKE RESERVATIONS before going.

I don't usually give rave reviews to pizza... but this was delicious!

Although it was a little pricey, this place was DEFINITELY worth the cost :D
