This place is great, if you don't have to get back to work after lunch.  You can order your food and take a decent nap before your order actually comes out.  Speaking of food, it's decent at best.  My friend's lunch was subpar but who wants to send it back and wait even longer?  The waiter took our drink orders and didn't return for another 10 minutes.  We didn't need that long to look over the menu considering half the stuff wasn't available.  

As with Laura B, I wanted to like this place considering it's so close to work.  It might be ok if you just want some drinks.

Went here for lunch.  It's definitely a dive.  It looks like the basement of a house built in the 50s or something.  Like someone's "handy" dad finished it himself.  I'm not sure what the draw is but the food is definitely not it.  My chef salad looked like it came from 7-11.  Besides having wet lettuce, it was ok for the price I suppose.  I doubt I'll be back.

The wife and I met some friends from Canada here last night.  It's not easy to find a good restaurant that suitable for an infant but luckily I called and was told it was ok.  

First off, they have a reasonably priced wine and beer menu.  I wish the beer selection was a bit more adventurous.  I saw the standard macros on the menu but I saw a Delirium Noel in the fridge behind the bar so I inquired about other beers not on the menu.  Turns out it was the only one that wasn't on the menu.  But fortunately I like Noel.

The flatbread that came out was really good.  My meatloaf with truffle butter mac & cheese was pretty good.  As was the wife's red snapper.  But I'd have to say the homemade paparadelle with duck confit and butternut squash was the best thing we ordered.  

It was my birthday so someone ordered the chocolate souffle.  It was good but a bit rich for my taste.  I'd like to state that I'm not a big sweets person though.  I think it would go great with some vanilla ice cream or something.  Our friends really enjoyed the creme brulee eggs.  In fact they wrote a note on the eggs just for the chef.  Looks like it made it's way to Yelp.

Went here to start off "guys' night."  The mussels were good for a starter.  I didn't know the burger was the thing to get so I ordered a ham & brie sandwich.  Wasn't too bad but I've had better.  The fries were good as well but I like mine a little thicker and with a crispier outside.  The beer selection was good.  Looks like they have a lot of local offerings.  

I like this place because it's not pretentious and the ambiance is just right.

My aunt and uncle were going back to California today so my dad wanted to take them and my grandparents out to dinner.  My grandfather loves seafood, so let's go to The Narrows.  Is there a problem?  Only that it's one hour and fifteen minutes away Fairfax when there is no traffic.  Of course it was 6PM on a Tuesday.  No one else will be on 66, 495, or 50 right?

So it took over an hour and a half to get here.  The waitress was quick with our drink orders and brought out some fresh out of the oven bread.  Our appetizers (crab dip and calamari) were great.  I ordered the petite filet and crabcake entree.  The filet was cooked perfectly.  I'd have to say it was one of the best I've had in recent memory.  It was so tender and tasty.  The crabcake was superb as well.  

Thinking about the food I had makes me want to have it again.  But until I can manage to teleport, I won't be able to come back that often.  Oh, and today I did notice a lot of bird poo on my car.  Damn seagulls!

I'm basing this solely on having drinks there.  The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful when I asked for some recommendations.  Prices weren't that bad either, at least compared to what I've seen for good beer.  The selection is nothing to complain about either, quite impressive.

I ended up here two days in a row on my visit to Santa Monica.  First one cousin took me here Friday.  Then Saturday my other cousin tried to take me somewhere else but he couldn't find it.  So we decided to go here.  It's not that big so you may be sitting in close quarters.  When you get up, you'll have to decide whether to give someone the crotch or the butt to their face.  

The food here is great.  I had the breakfast quesadilla one day and a club sandwich the next.  Portions here are fairly big.  I should not have eaten all of the quesadilla.  

I'm confused about the reviews with bad service.  I didn't have a bad experience either time.

I think with almost 500 reviews ahead of me, there can't possibly be anything I can add.  I'll just write my review in cliff notes.  Great but slightly sweet burger.  You better be patient if you want to eat while seated.  Great beer selection.  If you're within 30 minutes of FO, you better try it.

I gave this place a try for lunch today.  I ordered the two taco platter with carnitas (pork).  I'd have to say it was pretty good.  They came on a huge plate with rice and your choice of black or pinto beans.  The platter was more than enough for me to eat.  The tacos tasted fresh and the pork was tasty.  Free chips and salsa are provided with your order.  They give you three options as far as salsa goes.  The hot was not very hot at all.  The same goes for the mild.  

They serve you with real plates and silverware if you dine in.  So when you're done, you have to separate them before you throw your trash away.  They should just make everything disposable to make it easier.

2.5 stars.  I'd have to agree with AB.  I had the deluxe chicken burrito and it came out to be $11.  It was big and all but I don't think it warranted the price.  I would give it a try but the prices seemed a bit high.  Service was friendly and fast.

I miss the taco stands I've been to in CA that are fresh and cheap.
