I'm being kind to give this place two stars. Why, because there was a Screw, yes a Screw- you know- like from a hardware store in our beef chop suey. We were enjoying our appitizers and then came the beef chop suey which actually tasted great until we found a screw in it, no lie. We called and spoke to the owner and he said we could get a full refund on our order. Of course we took him up on this, but him and his staff should have been ALOT more careful. I'm just glad we found it in our food rather than swallowing it; it could have been really ugly. He is lucky all he had to pay for was the meal!
There's not much to complain about unless you are looking for problems or to complain.
The theater was remodeled in recent years(exactly when I don't know),
they show a great selection of first run shows. It's only $5 ( you got to love that price)until 6pm and full price after 6. Out of the two shows I caught here one screening room was more modern than the other with stadium seating. Both had very good sound(not great) and it was very comfortable inside and clean.

The inside must have been remodeled in recent years. This place is quite large, they have automatic(computerized scoring); very cool! I have wondered if my friends , family (or even myself) were actually keeping an accurate score by hand in the past, that's why I now love bowling alleys that have this kind of scoreboard. I need to go bowling more often to keep my game up to speed, I'm sure most yelpers can relate.
To bowl costs $2.50 a game per person and shoe rental is $3.00
They have pool tables for $12 hr(a bit steep) and a few video games, and a pub/grill inside as well.
The staff seemed friendly enough , the place is very clean and they have deals on bowling a couple of nights a week. I hope to be back.

I was really in the mood for some great Indian food last week and decided to give this place a try. There are a few competitors around here (nothing like Devon Ave.- of course). All the foods I tried at the buffet were very authentic. My only issue is that some of the entrees were not hot, they were warm at best. It's hard I know to keep buffett items all hot but they should try a bit harder. When I saw the owner put out some fresh hot items I went up and loaded up a second plate.
The spices and flavors however were fantastic. They could use a bit more decorating and I did not care for the techno Indian music(maybe it was from a Bollywood flick); traditional Indian music is fine with me but. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant.

What impressed me as much as the excellent food was the customer service.
The owner Warren told us if I we not satisfied with any of our food he would get us something else in exchange. We did not have to take him up on his offer everything was just right.
He personally brought our food to the table even though it is counter service ,made us feel right at home and shared a few laughs.

I'm not expecting charm or charismatic employees here and neither should you. I was sadly dissapointed with their customer service skills(or lack thereof). They know how to do the basic work but I can highly reccommend a couple other places for oil changes and car repair. It's not what they say here(not much) it's also what they don't tell you here that can end up costing you. Bogus isn't it?

Cluttered, cramped and disorganized for the most part is part of the charm here at this bookstore owned and run by Jim Mall a fellow guitarist and lover of 1960's art and music. We got to chat a bit about Grace Slick and the Jefferson Airplane, I listened to Jim's first hand stories about the "happenings" which were a before my time. I shared concert experiences and even chatted about guitars for a while. He buys(don't expect too much)as well as sells used books for a decent price. They are right next to the Davis Theater, so it kinda adds to the whole Lincoln Square experience popping in this quaint shop.
Jim's assistant (who's is certainly an odd character) is not nearly as cool or friendly as him but don't let that stop you from finding a rare paperback you've been looking for at an OK price.

It looks like Outback has some serious competition. The ranch/Texas style decor is cool but probably not for everyone however. The table service here is really good, however I have issue with the to-go service. The last time there was a side dish missing from my order. When I went to get the item the manager I spoke to (think Keith from the BBC version of The Office) copped an attitude with me and reluctently got the item. Apparently some of the employees and managers at this location think they are above the customer and are getting too cocky because this store is doing so well. They do have quality lunches and dinners here but I suggest not using the to-go service, if you do check everything and don't settle for a side of bad attitude.

Milwaukee County Zoo

We had a great time in Milwaukee and this is another place you have to check out while you are in town, unless you don't like zoos. If you do, you'll get a kick out of this one. Every zoo I have been to is quite a bit different, this one is no exception. They have a ski lift type that was fun and you can see the zoo and park from up in the air. The only other zoo that offers this ride is the San Diego Zoo. They have all the animals you will find at other zoos, including peacocks struting the grounds. It's not a free zoo like Lincoln Park, it's $10 for each adult.
