Have learned that a new liason is formed with 24 hour emergency/referral center now located in Portsmouth, and the college has been renamed Great Bay Community College

Perpretrated one of the most horrific veterinary scams I've experienced or heard of, in my 30 years of pet ownership. At the veterinarian's insistance, and despite my courteous and grieving requests for euthanasia, kept my elderly, hopelessly dying dog alive on fluids in a cage, unable to consume any food for an entire WEEK! Finally, when my dog was no longer recognizable as even a dog, euthanasia was carried out without warning or informed consent, in my presence, with a toxic chemical in lieu of a humane drug, to add to the cruel suffering she endured. Later, I learned that this clinic is not licensed for humane euthanasia (drug) & the State of NH condones this!
I can't help but wonder about the participation of the NH Technical Community College Vet Tech students that intern at this clinic. What are they LEARNING about care and compassion towards animals and humans? Search "Pocket's Story from NH" or http://clik.to/sc...

Negative star rating is deserved for the clinic , owned by Brad Barnes, DVM, that collaborated the most cruel and deceptive scam in my 30 years of pet ownership. In short, Edgefield Veterinary HospitalV pushed me into a referral at Dover Veterinary Referral Hospital, Dover, NH where my elderly, dying 11 1/2 yr. old dog sat in a cage on fluids for an entire week unable to consume any food AT ALL! Requests for euthanasia were discouraged, we were deceived, to the total tune of $3000. Where was the hospital (Edgefield Veterinary Hospital,LLC) that treated her for thousands of dollars during her lifetime?? DEAD SILENT. No care or compassion for my dog or me.
To add to the serious insult and suffering, my dog was "inhumanely euthanized" via a toxic chemical in my arms without warning or informed consent by a clinic that does not even possess a DEA Schedule 11 (narcotics) license!!
