AMC & IMAX - 5 stars!!!!
AMC - standard movie theater
AMC & IMAX -
I watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs IMAX 3-D! This was a really fun movie to watch (esp if you love food!). It's my 2nd animated 3-D movie, UP was my first (I loved this film, it was so cool).
The IMAX 3-D is a phenomenal movie watching experience. The IMAX experience combined with the 3-D is incredible, I love how far we keep going with technology - Sony 3D TV next year! Also, you never really have to worry about a bad seat, & the theater is kept 10X cleaner than the regular ones. The move experience is definitely worth the extra $4 they add on the ticket price (esp matinee, child, senior prices). I would recommend the animated 3-D films to all families.
I'm REALLY excited for Alice in Wonderland on IMAX 3-D!
Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter... on the IMAX... in 3-D!!
March 2010!!!
This is a great place for lunch. The food is served cafeteria style - they make your salad while you tell them exactly what you want. There are SO many vegetables, nuts, fruit, etc you can put in your salad & everything is FRESH!!
I can't wait to visit the SF location.
I really don't like the location - why is the arena in Natomas & not downtown?!
The design is ... well, ugly. Not much to write about....
Come on Sacramento, let's get a new arena!!
This is the nicest basketball arena I have been to - SO pretty!!!
I love the design and feel of the ACC - if only the Raptors were good :(
Go Leafs!!

Overall, good arena. Nice design, but poor acoustics.
Parking & alcohol are expensive so I would suggest taking BART.
BART, conveniently, goes directly to the Arena & Coliseum.

I love how the stadium is on the bay.
Beautiful scenic view. Even people who don't enjoy baseball very much, would enjoy the experience at AT&T Park.
You can get tickets for pretty cheap!! If only beer wasn't so expensive at ball parks :(
The garlic fries are SO good!! (maybe a little too much garlic, but still good!)

You can see the yard lines and numbers from the Raiders games :(
Oh well... it's Oakland. The baseball games are cheap and you can pretty much sit anywhere you want (on 2nd level).
Beer is expensive :( :(
Parking is expensive - best to get hammered on the BART.
The line for food wasn't long + the garlic fries were nice & greasy.

The City Beer Store & Tasting Bar
Categories: Beer, Wine & Spirits, Wine Bars

You can truly gain an appreciation for the wide variety of beers available worldwide. This is a GREAT place to go if you want to try different brews.
I also love how they have beer on tap for cheap!
This isn't a good place for large groups . The store is pretty small with very limited seating - not exactly a great "tasting bar".

Joshu-Ya Sushi
Categories: Sushi Bars, Japanese

The coupons are still available on the site so I don't understand how Joshu-Ya is doing this. I've gotten 2 messages from 2 different people saying they showed the waiters the coupon, the waiters said it was okay, and then at the very end they did not accept the coupon...
Minus 1 star.

If you come here to eat, make sure you buy a coupon from http://www.restau... - otherwise, the food is not worth the $$. I bought a couple of coupons for Joshu-Ya during http://restaurant...'s 90% off coupons promotion & I decided to use them today.
The food was okay. The super crunch roll was good, but not great. The chicken katsu did not taste like quality chicken. Overall, average restaurant.
For dessert, I suggest the tempura ice-cream - HUGE portions!
Joshu-ya is good for Happy Hour. CHEAP sake & beers! Too bad you can't use http://restaurant... coupons towards alcohol :(

Date

I've had:
Amaretti Cream Cake
Walnut Slice
Rugelach
Plum Kifli
Fatima's Thigh
Springerle Cookie - Halloween (lemon + orange blossom)
All of them were divine!! I probably wouldn't get Fatima's Thigh again, but it's really good if you enjoy rose water.
The rugelach was my favorite!
