I find this place to be a hit or miss. I've been here probably 5 times for dates, birthday party dinner, or out with friends and sometimes the food is insanely good, while other times, it's meh. Ambiance is always really nice - but I prefer the seating upstairs.

You'll have to make a reservation, and  be prepared to spend around $30 an entree.

Overrated & overpriced but good spot to impress someone who is more about the scene, than good solid food I suppose. I mean it's midtown, inside the Le Parker Meridien, with tourists all around you. No thanks!

This place is really cute, and I've never encountered a crowd the handful of times I've gone here. I usually stop in and sit at the bar  enjoying a beer and cheese plate, while waiting for a table to open up across the street (at Pates Et Traditions). Because it's so cozy and comfortable here, we end up staying way longer than intended and get back to the restaurant after most of the patrons have left.

It's a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for conversations with friends, or a date. You can easily spend hours here.

Finally - after meaning to try this place for years, I found myself here one night by chance because it was where a few friends of ours were drinking. Impressive drink menu with a lot of different bottle beers to select from. I also tried their mulled wine which was perfect on a cold winter's night.

The place can get crowded as it's small - but once you secure a seat you can stay for hours as the atmosphere is cozy & laid back.  Also great as a pre-dinner spot if you want to grab a drink and light snack beforehand.

Solid Italian restaurant. Love the rustic, intimate, authentic, and cozy atmosphere. Great spot for a date (very romantic), but they do have room for large parties as well. The waitstaff is warm & definitely Italian which I always appreciate. I mostly enjoyed the atmosphere, wine, appetizers, and tiramisu as my entree wasn't too great (lasagna). Definitely will be back.

Disappointed. I had high expectations from all the reviews so this has been on my "to-try" list for quite some time.

The Calamari was mostly fried zucchini with maybe 8 pieces of actual calamari. The seafood pasta had way too much garlic in it and the seafood didn't taste fresh at all. Sauce kind of tasted like it came from a jar.

Maybe I'll try the brunch but with solid Italian restaurants nearby (PT, D.O.C, Bacci & Abbracci, Il Passatore, etc) - don't think I'll be coming back for dinner any time soon.

This place is super cute! I have no idea how to cook or bake or what half of the items in here are but it makes me want to know!

No seriously - they seem to have everything, with a great super helpful staff. Maybe I'll try some classes because it's pretty pathetic how little I know.

Also, I have no idea if this is something the store provides or what but I thought it was really adorable when I saw little kids with their kid size carts filled with fake food items going up to the register to pay. And I kind of thought I hated kids.

I cry every time I crave Yummus Hummus and I remember that it is closed, and has been replaced by Newtown. I've tried their hummus twice now, and it just isn't the same. Consistency is off (pretty watery),  taste is off...I'm getting severely depressed. I want my Yummus back.

I've only had this once, and that is because I am afraid if I go back and remember how amazing this place is, I will continue to go back and blow up to 875lbs.

I ordered a waffle with nutella, peanut butter, caramel, pears & whipped cream. I literally closed my eyes and smiled after my first bite, and felt a little perverted. It was one of the best things to have ever gone inside my mouth. I have to stop talking about this or else I might run over there now. Just go.

I am no coffee aficionado so I am probably not that qualified in giving a review. What I do know is that this place had a really friendly barista, was comfortable enough to enjoy a cup of coffee, and that cup of coffee tasted better than most others I've tried. I really came in here for the smores but they were out :/
