The service is really friendly and great, but the best part is this amazing food!!

I ordered the Indonesian Ginger BBQ sandwich with steak and their sauce was amazing.  It had pear juice, sesame seeds, oil, fresh ginger, garlic and soy sauce and was dripping deliciousness!  You have the option of a side of chips or slaw which I tried to go healthy and get the slaw but even that was something that I devoured, too!

Prices are pretty reasonable considering the large portions.  The owner is friendly and has the cutest toddler!

I stopped by after a post office errand and was so pleasantly surprised about this place.  The owners are super nice and friendly - welcome to the neighborhood!  The coffee is good and I had their sunrise breakfast sandwich which was delicious.  Prices are reasonable and it looks like a great hangout spot for book club!

Welcome again and I can't wait to bring my family here to try it out!

What a fabulous opportunity to check out Roka Akor.  I loved the mini demo and the fish and beef filet were fabulous.  The maki rolls were good, and about as fresh as you can get for Chicago sushi.  Service was super friendly and loved the space.  They definitely kept my wine glass full and I had to tell them no more thank you!!

What a great space!  I love the viewing kitchen and whole setup of the bar area and dining area.

What a great sampling and beautiful restaurant!  Thanks again to Johnny & staff (they knew my name at the front door!) for a great evening.

This place was great!  We threw our son's 3rd birthday party here and I placed the order with the owner's mom and worked with him,  as well.  They were really fabulous and easy to work with.

Decor: Trains galore!  My son and his friends loved the machines and the train model up front.  The parents got a kick out of the buttons, especially the Strong Man one to 'test your strength'.  The party room was filled with balloons and mylar balloons of Thomas the Train and Happy Birthday!  I love the flat screen tvs around playing Thomas, as well.

Party: Each kid got to pick out his own meal and got a cool cotton hat, as well.  After we sang Happy Birthday to my son, the kids all lined up to get their own scoop of ice-cream.  The private room is nice for parents to leave their coats and the gift table was nice, too.

Food: This is probably the best train diner around Chicagoland with their food!  They had 7-8 different options for the kids, including a gluten free chicken one!  My son loved being able to pick something he would eat and even got to pick out his sides.  The adults had apps and sandwiches/burgers in quarters which we enjoyed, as well.  The chopped salad was delicious - bacon and chicken - yum!  We had ordered several of the turkey club sandwiches and burgers which were well made, as well.  Some of the parents also enjoyed a beer, as well.

Suggestions: Next time, it would be nice to maybe get a name tag or something to identify the kids that were with our birthday party.

Overall, service was fabulous - our server was very accommodating and helpful with our group of kids.  THANK YOU AGAIN!!

I have to admit - I was really nervous bringing my laptop here after reading all the reviews.  In my defense, this was right around the corner from the hotel that I was staying at for a work event and my laptop was having issues starting up.  I called for an appointment and got really lucky that I was able to schedule something for the same day.  After I dropped off my laptop ($49 diagnostic fee and $35 rush fee), the guy there was really friendly and told me that they would have a diagnosis within an hour.  I went to a nearby cafe to wait - that's when I saw all of the reviews which made me a little panicky and hoped that I made the right decision.

When I returned, it turns out that my laptop just needed a new battery and since I opted to use their services and have them change out my battery, my diagnostic fee was included in my total cost with them.  All of this to get my laptop back in 24 hours, Jasper and his team were real lifesavers!  Thank you again!

On a work trip here, I opted to stay close to the university where the event was held.  I thought that this was a great option that gets an A+ for walkability.  This is in a great location!

I didn't realize how walkable everything was so I had a rental car so I appreciated their free parking and accessibility to the highway.

Overall, the rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating.  I also liked how the shampoo/conditioner came out of a dispenser - super convenient!  I would definitely stay here again.

During my son's winter break, he was itching to get out and about.  Luckily, I found out about the Artic Winter Break classes and he has been loving it!  He's been coming home with fun stories to share about what he did and how fun his camp teachers are.  It's a wonderful concept and the Chandler Newberger Center is a really great location.  I will definitely be taking advantage of camp when his regular school is on break.  

The Chandler Newberger Center has a huge parking lot and is also right off of the Central Purple Line stop.  We've also attended birthday parties here which are wonderful and well set up, too.

After having a newborn and also a rambunctious toddler, I was thrilled to see a good deal for 3 hours of a cleaning service.  I quickly scheduled and booked a cleaning appointment for 3 hours of service two weeks in advance.  The day of the appointment, they were late and I called them.  They informed me that their car had some troubles and to make up for it, they would give me an extra hour of service.  

They arrived slightly late to the rescheduled appointment and I was surprised that they didn't have a broom, mop or vacuum and had to use mine.  I also was put off the fact that they wore their sneakers into my home and I reminded them that I was going to be given an extra hour of cleaning and showed them what needed to be done.  After 1.5 hours, they told me that there was nothing left to clean and they were done.  I tried to point out that because they wore their sneakers into my home, I could see footprints on my hardwood floors.  I also pointed out that they didn't do nearly half the things that I had asked of them on my list.  They insisted that would be an extra cost.  I reminded them that I paid for THREE hours and was supposed to get a complimentary hour for them cancelling on me.  They said that they did what they could and anything more would be extra.

After they left, I was so disappointed that I had to do more cleaning up after them and that's when I realized that they broke my vacuum cleaner!  When I called to complain, they told me that my vacuum cleaner was already broken.  I have been going back and forth trying to get my money refunded since I prepaid for THREE hours and not just 1.5 hours.

Growth Spurts is amazing - I was turned onto this place through The Parent Circle and love the fact that it's right by the Linden train station.  My son loves taking the train here and everything about Growth Spurts is wonderful!

Of course, my son fell in love with their train table but I like the cafe idea that has organic food and drinks for both the parents and children.

There are also blocks, various games and toys, a painting area and crafts to a great indoor house and a sand table.  

I ended up purchasing a ten visit pass since it allowed for a bit of a discount and can't wait for our next visit!

Amazing and delicious!!  I fell in love with these at the Yelp Holiday party and immediately headed there that same week and picked up ten of these for all of the different teachers at my son's school and also makes a great hostess gift for some of the holiday parties that we're attending.  So far, we've tried the original, cinnamon, walnut, nutella and coconut and the nutella and walnut.  All are amazingly delicious!

They tasting amazing and are a great steal for the price you pay!  Service is friendly and helpful and I couldn't help but keep a nutella and walnut one for myself and the family.
