Probably one of the best restaurants in Pooler and better than the Dickey's locations that I've tried in Texas. The people are friendly, the barbecue is good, and the drinks are easily accessible. Free ice cream and pickles? Nobody has that ...
The perky young employees are really friendly here and the ribs are ok, but if you are looking for a barbecue experience that likes of that you might find in the barbecue belt of Texas, you might be disappointed. I wasn't impressed at all with the cole slaw, which lacked any sort of character and had a funny taste to me (the same old same old). Ditto on the beans, which were a very basic baked variety. The fried okra was a bit mushy, too--not cripsy like they make it on the other side of town at Dickey's (there, they drop it in the fryer when you order it). Overall, better than a lot of the eateries in Pooler, but it could use a little work in the food department if it desires to attain the status of a bonafide barbecue joint.

I would love to say my experience at Oak Park Dental was exemplary, but I just can't do that. My mouth and tongue were sore for several days after merely being fitted for a crown, something I have never experienced with any previous procedures at other dentists. To make matters worse, I was charged an $85 OSHA fee at final checkout (no dentist has ever charged me an OSHA fee, much less one of that magnitude). Granted, my crown was partially gold, but I walked out with 1 grand plus hole in my wallet. Painful, both physically ... and financially.
If you like Lexington Style barbecue drowned in a vinegar-based sauce, then you might like Don's. Not the worst in the world, but certainly not the best. That said, I think that Don's need a visit from Gordon Ramsay and his makeover team ...

I REALLY love the waffles at this chain breakfast joint, but somebody, I say somebody, has GOT to teach the cook here how to make bacon. For some reason, the strips of pork fat that are served up here are always cooked unevenly, with some parts almost raw. C'mon folks, this should be slam dunk for you. I can fry up better bacon on my car's manifold. Get your bacon act together!

I visited this downtown Savannah eatery with some of my business associates and have to tell you that my first visit will be my last visit ...
On a slow Wednesday night, the service was horrible. Ok, let's say horrific. The food was tasteless, too. Blackened scallops without any flavor? How do you do that?
As one earlier reviewer commented, the beer was lousy (confirmed by one of the seasoned beer drinkers in our party). I had a gin and tonic, with similar results: The tonic was pure seltzer, the lime a flaccid afterthought. Yuck.
Worst of all, I added a nominal tip onto the bloated bill. A stupid gesture on my part, as I found out later that my tab already included a 15% gratuity. So much for sitting in a large group and asking for a separate check.
Add this establishment to the ever-expanding list of low country eateries that just don't make the grade ...

I thank my creator that there is now a grocery store which gives me the ability to never set foot in Walmart again. Plus, the Artichoke Jalapeno dip they make in the deli department is addictive. Higher prices? I will gladly pay a little bit more for cleanliness and a great atmosphere. Plus, the selection of products is excellent and people are genuinely nice.

I like.
It's small, easy to access, quick to get around in, fast to get to your gate, with a miniscule line at security. There is no TSA groping here and decent eateries while you wait.
Need a diversion? There's a game arcade, fast food burgers, hot dogs, hair salon, gift shop, sandal shop, smoking lounge, and more.
If only every airport were like this, I might enjoy the cruel and barbaric art of airline travel.
