Wow...consistenly tasty and fantastic food!  I had the opportunity to sample a lamb dish at Harvest in the Square.  i collected a business card and just had to see if they were just as good in person.  I wasn't disappointed!

Well furnished...minimalistic, clean lines, love all the mirrors and glass...very comfortable atmosphere.  I was there for a work lunch and would definitely go back at night for dinner and drinks.

For lunch they have 2 pre-fixe options...sandwich or salad with one side for $16 or sandwich or salad with 2 sides and a dessert for $24.  I ended up getting the lamb shank sandwich with fried eggplant...fantasic!!!  For sides, I ordered the hummus and babaganoush...light and tasty pita bread...and for dessert...the "Candy bar"...chocolate, caramel, ganache, crushed pistacios....wonderful!  And perfect when paired with a cappucino!

I was impressed with this dining experience and would definitely recommend it to others!

Of course I give this 5 stars...I work here!  LOL...for the past 11 years...I dress up as a "wench" - well I do henna so I guess I'm really a gypsy.  But this review is both from my perspective from the inside out...and the accumulation of my friends thoughts...from the outside in.

So where to start...you cross through the gates onto a dirt road where you are magically transported to medieval Disney land =)  That's basically the easy way to describe...not so much the rides, although there are a few, but there's games for adults and kids, tons of food, didn't you always want a smoked turkey leg and fried cheesecake on a stick?, and of course shopping galore.  That is, if you like handmade crafts...from pottery to pewter to henna body art!

And there is a running story line...with knights and a queen, a joust, a living chess game, birds of prey, and a glass blowing demo.

In any case, whatever floats your boat, there will be something for you to see, do, eat or buy.  So come on down...there are 2 more weekends.  The last day is 9/20/09.  And if you miss it this year, there's always next year...it's typically 8 weekends long beginning in August.

Hope to see you there!!!

I love this place...it's quick, tasty and very reasonable!  My favorite one is the lamb kabab!!!

I go to this location all the time (it's across the street from where I take drum classes) and up until Saturday, I didn't realize it's a FREAKING CHAIN...so I had the same yumminess on McDougal St in the West Village!!!!

Now...if only there was one in Yonkers!!!!

I think this is a great venue...and the fact that I performed there isn't the ONLY reason =)

It's a very cool space...the acoustics were awesome, the staff friendly and helpful...the drink prices were reasonable and the food was delicious (I was surprised!).  I had the mushoom and cheese quesadilla with chicken...very tasty!  My friends got the mini sloppy joe's and sushi and said those were very good too.

It's a great place on a Saturday night...definitely check it out in the future.

hmm...I'd try it again...

pros:
-it's a nice spot...it was quiet around 6-7pm...then got packed at 8pm
-the garden bar is cool...it's nice outside and there's a clear plastic overhang, so you can still be "outside" and not get wet
-the food was tasty depending on what you got...quesadillas were good, calamari was good, but it wasn't spicy (and it was advertsed as Spicy Calamari)
-the beer was ok....

cons:
-no table service at the garden bar...you had to walk up to the bar
-my friends had the white sangria and weren't impressed
-the mac and cheese was a bit disappointing...soupy, and a bit bland

All in all, it was ok...I'd try it again to see if I got the same experience.

This was a very nice place for drinks and appetizers on a Friday night!  The drinks were a little pricey, but they used top shelf booze AND didn't water it down!  They drinks were exotic, crisp and very tasty!  I had the huckleberry lemonade (Huckleberry vodka with a nicely balanced lemonade)...my friend got the cucumber martini...said it was pretty good.  For appetizers, we got eggrolls and portablella fingers...very yummy!!!  Fresh without being overly greasy...it was a nice change of pace.

Definitely try it out...and the location is cool too!  I love Bryant Park!

Cleanliness is next to godliness!  This place was very clean...all sterile tools...and you get to keep your nail file and scrubbie =)  A nice parting gift.  Complimentary drinks (and cocktails on Thursdays 6pm-9pm).  It was a bit pricy, but they do use an exclusive nail polish formula that is free of harmful toxins like Formaldehyde, Tolune and DBP...normally found in off-the-shelf nail polishes.

Next time, I think I want to try the spa pedicure =)  It's nice to try at least once!

This is by far my favorite museum in Manhattan.  I throughly enjoy medieval art (and also LOVE the Cloisters) but this is basically one stop shopping...you've got Egyptian art, Greek and Roman art, a fantastic scuplture garden...and so much more (that I could spend days describing) to count!!!

Now, during the summer...they also have a rooftop bar!  There are sculptures on the roof...and you can enjoy them with a martini and the backdrop of the city!  It's fantasic and a must see if you've never been.

Love it!  This is will be my new backyard!  And to think that I only live 10 minutes north!

I had the opportunity to visit this fabulous garden yesterday...I have to say that my favorite spots so far are the Wild Garden and the Water Garden (I'll post some pictures later)!  Also, the galleries were lovely...they had a mized media exhibition based on the trees of Wave Hill.

Go to their website...there are a lot of free and paid programs.  Last night was Sunset Wednsday, where they had a wine tasting and a food demo (yummy salmon, btw)!

Definitely check it out!!!  You will not be disappointed!

I'm in food heaven!  I just enjoyed the fabu pre-fixe lunch here ($under $25) and it was fantastic!  For starters, I had the watermelon, tomato and feta salad...(YUMMY!) I had never had watermelon in a salad before...it was really tasty!  For the main course, I had the rigatoni  with braised duck...portion could have been a tiny bit larger, but the quality and flavor were right up there with Grammercy Tavern!  For dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake...with vanilla almond ice cream!  WOW...rich, yet light and the perfect finish to a lovely and well paired meal.

I only wish I could have had a glass a wine with it (since I had to go to work...and was with my boss was a no-go for this time...but next time!!!)

I will definitely go back and I'd recommend it to anyone!
