Amazing pizza done the "Right" way...and amazing dining experience.

I went with a group of coworkers...we shared a few appetizers...the fried spaghetti!  WHOA...it was delicious!!!  And the pizza...I had the pizza de re...white truffle cream, mushrooms (sauted in garlic), mozzerella cheese and proscuitto.  OMG...and they only have personal size pies...I ate half there and took half back to the office and had it the next day for lunch.  It's even amazing the next day (heated in a toaster oven!!)!!!

AND DESSERT...they were these donut fingers (like zepoles) drenched in NUTELLA!  Yes...you heard that right people...NUTELLA covered zepole fingers.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!

This is strictly a dessert place...so don't come here for the food.  I mean...it wasn't bad...but it wasn't that great either.  It was just ok.  I had the chicken cesar salad.  The chicken was WELL DONE...like it was too tough to eat...and there was too much dressing...it just was a bad combination...a BAD SALAD.  The only thing that redeemed this place...was the oreo cookie cheesecake...OMG...it was amazing!!!

So skip the food and just come here for dessert!

Yeah!  The chain came to me!!!!  I had the opportunity to visit the Yard House when I was in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and was excited then that a location was going to be opened in NY.

Last night I had dinner here...I had the truffle fries to start...as delicious as I remembered them.  I also had the chicken tortilla soup (delicious!) and the steak salad...was incredible!  Fresh greens, string beans, avocado, tomato, blue cheese, egg, it was plentiful and tasty!

And the beer selection!  I've died and gone to heaven!!  I had a blend...half Hoeegarten and half pear cider...delicious...the Pear Shanty!

I can't wait to go back and try some other things...they had a HUGE menu, so there's lots to try out!

Super friendly staff...another must visit for the RIdge Hill Complex!

I am a fan of this local eatery...the tomato soup and grilled cheese is one of my lunch time favorites!!!  They also have great mac & cheese...and spinach artichoke dip.

It's very roomy and I imagine great for happy hour/dinner.  I've only been there for lunch, but I like the atmosphere and would definitely visit again (I've been twice and have enjoyed my food, wait staff and environment very much).

I only heard about this place because it was the only place in Westchester participating the Macaron Day.  So I stopped in, browsed their selection...bought one (but somehow got 2) and got my freebie.  All I can say...YUMMY...and so exciting that it's only 15 minutes from my house!

They also have a huge selection of pasteries (several types of crossaints)...I can't wait to come here on a weekend morning and sit down with a cup of tea!

Friendly staff...pleasant experience...I look forward to my next visit.

Salted Caramel mararon...yes...it was AWESOME!

I'm not sure about others experience, but I was here on Macaron Day and these were some of the nicest people giving away macarons!  They had a nice variety (6-8 I think) where as some places gave you a significantly smaller macaron OR no choice, or BOTH.  So...all in all, a very pleasant experience and I hope to stop in again to try other flavors.

Nutella macaron...need I say more!!!!!!!

Yesterday, 3/20 was Macaron Day NYC 2012...and of the 21 participating bakeries...I hit up 8...and this place was in my top 2.

They have a ton of flavors...I definitely have to go back and sample some more of them.  The price $2.50 each is on par with other macaron places in the city, so it wasn't any more expensive then some of the others.

YOU HAVE TO GO THERE AND TRY THEM...that is all.

I honestly haven't had a good whole lobster in quite some time.  This dinner (see the picture that I uploaded) was well worth the work (and mess).  One funny comment...the waiter actually tied the lobster bib around my neck!!  Wow...I haven't had that happen in...well I can't remember when, but let's just say it's been a LOOOOOOOOOONNGGGG time ;)

The dinner was delicious!  I had the mushroom ravioli to start...fresh, perfect tenderness...and the right amount of creamy sauce (wasn't as heavy as it could have been).  The lobster clambake...haven't had anything like that since Cape Cod (2006).  The lobster was cooked to perfection and I ate every last bit...all the little legs too!

For dessert...chocolate pecan pie....NEED I SAY MORE?  You can't go wrong going here...I am SO looking forward to my next visit!!!!

Looking for a good Italian place in the UES, well you've come to the right place.  This place isn't nearly as expensive as it's UES neighbors and the food is fresh, delicious and well worth the wait!  Their foccaia bread is to DIE FOR!  no...seriously...I'll probably go back for some appetizers and just eat lots of bread.  The pasta was fresh and the sauce for my seafood spinach linguini was a little spicy (perfect combo), but a little heavy.

I'd definitely try this place out again if I'm in that neighborhood.

Bobby Van's Steakhouse

Most restaurants during Restaurant week pull out the stops, but this one was amazing!  I had lunch here yesterday with my team...and we ALL walked away happy.  There's usually at least one that walks away unsatisfied, but that was *not* the case at Bobby Van's.

As you know, the pre-fixe menu is $24.07 during restaurant week...you are definitely getting your money's worth here.  I started with the Benjamin Salad (tomatoes, cucumbers and sweet onions in a dill vinaigrette), then I had the Golden Tilapia (with sauteed spinach and a tomato caper sauce) - good size piece of fish, and for dessert, I had the hazelnut gelato.  OMG...was that a fantastic meal.  The salad was fresh and crisp...with a light yet flavorful dressing.  The tilapia was fantastic...lightly breaded, it wasn't heavy or greasy, nor was it overcooked...it was perfect!  flaky...yummy!  The hazelnut gelato...was divine!!!  I got 2 small scoops...I could have easily ate more it was so good...but it was the right portion.

Overall, a very pleasant experience that I hope to repeat soon one day.
