Came here for the first time two weeks ago because of all the raving reviews on Yelp. I came in not knowing jack about cigars and the staff was super helpful in educating me and assisting me choosing the right cigars. Went back today for the second time and once again came out a very satisfied customer. The people who work there are very knowledgeable and very willing to help so if you are a first time cigar smoker this is definitely the place to go.
Seriously, how can people give this place 1 star? Are we even reviewing the same restaurant? Anywho, came here with a friend (see J Bro's review below haha) on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and authenticiy of the ramen here. Sure, the portion was small, sure, the meat and garnishes were scarce, but this is supposed to be a izakaya style restaurant where you order multiple dishes to share. I especially love the broth, very rich in flavor but not overly salty or oily. Unfortunately the ramen selection was small, I think only 4 different kinds, but I will definitely come back here again to try the other tapas dishes.
I came here at the recommendation of a friend who told me that their chocolate chip cookies were real good. I ordered a turkey sandwich and four semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies for lunch and my taste buds were completely satisfied. The sandwich was great, better than Le Boulanger's and Panera Bread's. The cookies were crazy delicious but I am sure they pack a wallop in fat and calories. I think I'll be coming back here a lot since it's practically next door to NASA Ames where I work.

Uncle Frank's BBQ & Catering - CLOSED
At the moment of this writing this place is still closed from the kitchen fire from god knows how long ago. Talked to the waiter and he didn't know when it would be open again. Only reason for 2 stars is because I really want to try it.
This review is for the Wednesday Salsa nights, I have no idea about the quality of their drinks and food. I had been hearing about the Agenda's salsa for quite a while but had always been too lazy to go down to SJ to dance on a week night. This Wednesday my general motivation level was unusually high so I decided to go and check it out.
Got there around 8:20 and most of the street parking was full, but I got lucky and found a spot 2 blocks down. Paid my $5 and went upstairs to the dancing area. Guy to girl ratio looked good, about 1.2 to 1. The dance floor was unusually long and narrow which made it difficult to see the instructors if you are at either end of the dance floor. The class was kind of lame since there wasn't a separate beginners' and intermediate class. The instructor went from the basic steps straight into an unimpressive pattern. When the music started it was way too fast for practicing and rotation happened sporatically, anywhere between 30 seconds and 10 minutes. And the people here, ah...the people here was what really ruined the experience for me. The creepiness factor was definitely high here. There were several mougars there who just didn't look like they were there to dance if you know what I mean. During one rotation this guy who was supposed to rotate to my partner ran diagonally across the room to snatch up this leggy blonde on the other side. He nearly pounced the poor girl. Several guys just seemed way too eager to give out "private lessons", incessantly trying to correct their partners. Some of the ladies seemed to have forgotten their gum or mints at home. I got the hell out of there after the lesson and never looked back.
If you want have a good, relaxed and just overall fun time dancing salsa I highly recommend going to Alberto's in Mountain View instead. Plus Pantea is a much better teacher.

This place was ghetto. I can't believe I came here, it's not how I roll. From the outside you wouldn't be able to tell what the hell this place actually is. Inside smelled like sweaty socks, not so pleasant. Soju tasted like rubbing alcohol, seriously, what's the deal? People threw up in the restroom, gross. If I have to say one positive thing about this place it would have to be the waiters/waitresses. They were attentive and speedy in service.

It's been a while since I was here but my overall experience here wasn't all that great. First of all, like most other reviewers mentioned, this place gets too damn hot. It's ridiculous, after an hour of dancing I was literally drenched in sweat and most of it wasn't even my own...very gross indeed. When I went to the HSF's the instructors were Ricardo and Michelle, they were good but I didn't like the stuff they taught, I much prefer Pantea's style. Finally, the Chinese lady at the door was a mean biznatch, accused me of sneaking in and free loading on their crappy Chinese buffet when she didn't even bother to check my stamp. When I showed her my stamp she just walked away without a single apology.
This is the same chain they have in Japan. This place has a wide variety of noodles but I always get the Spicy Champon which is really good. It's quite spicy and has a lot of seafood, veggies and pork bits. Kimchee here is also good. 5 stars for delivering consistent quality noodles.

Love this place. This is the first place I think of when I am craving for a nice brunch on the weekends. MUST try their Madhouse platter, it's got french toast, pancake, eggs, and either ham, bacon or sausage and fresh fruits. Also the grapefruit-orange juice is very yummy as well. It's a good people watching place too, the customers here are yuppie and some are actually pretty hot.

Upon closer inspection of the menu I noticed that among the list of ingredients was something called Toyko "Leak". Immediately, I inquired about this unusual yet exotic component, hoping to determine the source of their ramen's secret sauce...or something to be avoided at all cost. Turned out that Tokyo Leak is but a distant cousin of the common green onion. How disappointing...
